Every Thursday we're traveling through a DUST wormhole to bring back some our channel's classics. When Thom broke up with his girlfriend Celia to follow his dreams and become an astronaut he didn't realize it would lead her to use her robotics skill against all of humanity. Now he must try to heal her broken heart and save the world. Tears of Steel by Ian Hubert

Instead of funding Musk and mars, Fund me to cleanse our planet and harness the clean friendly energy that was aborted through Telsa project, lets take control over our futures and our freedom of money. once we have our unlimited energy source, we have unlimited potential and every generation will live better than the last. FOR OUR FUTURE AND NOT FAR FROM THAT ERA < WE CAN TRAVEL EVERYWHERE

Yet another DUST short that just leaves you hangin'. Super tired of these. If you're gonna tell a story. then tell a damned story. Beginning. Middle. End. That's how a story works. So many of these are just pointless. Most of these are just teasers that will never see any light of day as fully realized movies. So tell your damned story and move on.

Why you have to always make a video with incomplete ending. I mean everytime. I can understand in one or two videos but it's getting very predictable or boring that u r nt gone show what happened in the end.
It kills my intention to watch ur videos
Ur views also falling can't u see.

Hey, this SHORT DUST movie is filmed in AMSTERDAM in THE NETHERLANDS!
And hey, I think that actor in this SHORT DUST movie is the DUTCH GOOD ACTOR DEREK DE LINT!
Great to see him acting in this SHORT DUST movie and this movie is really good and cool!

Absolutely top shelf! The quaint-goofiness was right on, just enough cheese to make such a ridiculous situation feasible. Engaging, dramatic, action packed powerhouse. Best 10 min. of sci-fi I've watched in awhile. Easy 10 outta 10 on this odd gem!

Just keep getting better. Maybe someday soon one of these firm artists will be on the big screen or on some cable net work series and once again entertain us beautiful once more time with true good art. Thank you for this video made my day.

Story isn't much but the graphics. Man. Just wow. If Transformer graphic was this clear I'd have finished an episode without having an episode. Could extend the story to build background and make a good movie about it for real.

Huh. Watching this in early 2023, Charge seems kind of like a sequel to this.
Tears of steel is a work of true genius. Excellent story beats. Funny and sad at the same time. Really well written, acted, and animated.

Please don't contribute to the horrible trend of movies with scenes so quiet that it requires turning the volume way up only to be followed by scenes SO LOUD THEY HURT! God, that is SO annoying. Other than that, I liked it.

This was made by a company to display the power of their film editing software blender. It is in open sourced in Creative Commons. You may see this movie and big buck bunney as stock or test footage in different places.

Imagine these special effects were available to master film makers in the past. Imagine you show movies like this to people 100 years ago, telling them that these are real. They would believe you without any doubt.

Note to Ian himself. I sent an email to the only email I had on hand. This is an old friend from TFN. Contact me.
Also. I loved this film. And I nearly crapped myself when your name popped up at the end.

It could be a VERY INTERESTING movie if LONG enough!
Good VID!
Very good GRAPHIC EFFECTS, the industry NEED MORE of THIS, actors are not THAT IMPORTANT, we need TECHNOLOGICAL FANTASY SCENES to be INSPIRED!

reply

This was extremely done so well that it looked like so much fun. The combination of the CG with live acting was very well combined.
I could happily watch more of your CG/action stories.

The message isn't clear. I find that to be a problem with Dust, whereby it places visual/computer effect over and above the story line. That's one reason I prefer Omoleto to Dust.
reply

To me this was more looking like TRANSFORMERS pared with MARVEL shxte. A good SciFi is more than shooting and Robots. Anyway, guess its the modern times now, less phantasy, more CGI
reply

That was a surprise! And in Amsterdam with some dutch actors. Derek de Lint, long time no see. Liked it a lot; good feel, good imaging. Thanks for that.
reply

Why don't u make some TV stations and set up a network wi fi TV talk to Elon put some comershils. Thanks I like your shorts make longer ones.
reply

Didn't have a clue about this one. Not my genre at all. But putting it all together took some work! Well done

Very campy acting from the background staff, specially the scientists. Very good tale, graphics and idea.

For the first time ever, watching Dust videos, I'm lost. Nonetheless, visually entertaining, stunning!

It's not her robot hand he has a problem with. It's her robot boyfriend in her dresser drawer!

I liked this one but every time the guy with the broken glasses came on was a turn off.
