I don't think she destroyed the time machine to save him. She rather realized that there is a logical flaw in the story of her future self. If the time machine messes up your mind, then take it for yourself and we can do anything makes no sense as it would then mess up your own mind. Maybe that already happened to her future self or maybe the entire story is a lie and it's all about betrayal or greed. Either way, something is going horribly wrong, so she decides that this time machine does no good to either of them and she'll have a better life without it by marrying the guy she's in love with.

This is a very bad and primitive story.
Who broke the machine The girl didn't find it and couldn't go back to break it.
Also, this story completely avoids an explanation of what happens with future clones.
There are so many books and stories about time travel concepts and paradoxes and looks like the author didn't read any before making this mediocre short.

Spoiler alert: I stopped watching Dust videos a couple years ago because they ultimately ended very darkly. They were so depressing, when there already was too much darkness in the world. So (taking a chance) I watched this one and was surprised/delighted when it had a happy ending! More of these please. Are you listening, Dust

The reason I'm late is because I found a time machine.
This seems like the worst excuse in the world for being late. THE. WORST.
Because if you have a time machine, . c'mon! Just go back and leave earlier or something so you won't be late!

Woulda just kept the time machine and not told my partner about it so he doesn't time travel with it, avoids the whole mind issue. Unless it was the act of time travelling itself that only messed with HIS mind. I bet my partner would just keep asking me where I'm getting all of this money though haha

Wow. At first, I was noticing his Homer Simpson vibe, so it's definitely funny. But the surprise ending is sweet and smart. In this version of he-and-she, the woman saves the man from his own flaws. Really short but well worth your time. Hats off to the writers and actors.

I'm no expert, but I feel like there's flaws and plots hole to the rationality of time travel.
How there's two in one place or how she's fine after destroying it, but nonetheless.
This was very enjoyable and charming. From the acting to the whole atmosphere. Well done.

It also made me think what I would do if I have access to a time machine but it also makes me scared of the possible consequences. Like they said, you can't have everything. For everything you gain, you have to lose something.

OK, I'm not sure I get this. She in the present went back, destroyed the time machine so it wouldn't cause problems, but then her future self from 5 years in the future kills her so she can be the one to get married

Hang on! If someone travelled back in time then they would still only exist once and in whatever time they were in. Premise of this film is entirely wrong and wasted my time

It was wonderful, I loved it, just one little thing that disgusted me, she destroyed the time machine on the bus seat, she could have destroyed it in another way hehe.

It's always nice when a Dust film isn't depressing or has rough ending. While those are entertaining, there are a lot of them. THIS film was a lot of fun.
