Noticed footage of the real world National Airlines Flight 102 crash (cargo flight, 7 people killed) used in this video, as well the crash of TransAsia Airways Flight 235 (43 killed, 15 injured.
There are other events that appear as if they may be real world, but I can't be sure.
In my opinion it is poor taste to use real world footage of events where people died for anything other that reporting on such events.
Would be terrible to be a family member of one of the victims in these incidents and stumble across the footage in a Sci Fi short.
It's poor taste, but I'd welcome arguments either way providing they are sensible and thoughtful.

As far as this video goes it was short and it absolutely sucked basically like everything dust produces, a waste of time!
I've literally seen one or two programs from dust that were entertaining this was not one of them.

Again an interesting premise, but it goes NOWHERE. The only way AI or any robots go amok is if we Program them to do so. All these silly Panic mongering Movies due is give you a BIG what If scenario. If an idiot does program AI to operate in a mode of destruction then WE deserve just what we get. End of story

Well but the whole internet of things and AI thing is gonna go to shit one day. The whole system going offline, leaving most of the civilization dysfunctional, is probably the easiest possible outcome. All other ways would probably include AI becoming more powerful than humans.

I like DUST, I really do, but so many of the stories end with zero resolution, just a eh, what do you think the point of all this was. I've watched 30 minutes movies that didn't have half the story fulfillment that this one did, bravo. Also, love me some Richard Brake!

Even if it follows the AI take over plot. there are some really creative ways to do that. Im coming from a mechanical design background starting when CAD was just beginning so I'm an addict for the designs folks use. 3d printing has sure added a great element

If AI decided to wipe out humanity, it wouldn't do it with battlebots or any weapons, because it would learn that humans eventually rebel and fight. It would instead subtly change humanity over decades so that we'd fight ourselves to extinction.

You obviously know how to create CGI things. Why use real footage from real disasters I find that very disrespectful to the people that died in those crashes, plus their families. Kinda disgusting, the more I think about it.
