Watch the DUST channel for our complete sci-fi library, feature films, and more Showing that it isnt difficult to plant the seed that we do not NEED stuff of modern convenience to live our lives. Simplifying our lives helps us to grow as people together. Nice parallel made for the effect the pandemic had on many peoples mindsets to encourage us to find what is important, what is not and what we could change. Great story!

Well done Steve. So much story in such a short space. I’ve seen full-length sci-fi films with less plot. CGI complements story instead of being a substitute for plot.
Hollywood take note.
Beautiful camera work, atmospheric and economical. Shows up so much of the sci-fi short genre as cliched, pretentious nonsense, short of ideas.

I don't care where it came from but once i saw it, the positive impact it would have had on me ks that i would have been the fastest animal on earth followed by a clise 2nd that of a trail of poop.

Interesting, well acted, a quality introduction of a sudden event. yet seems only a beginning chapter to a larger book. Clearly, what comes next is beginning to beg for an answer.

Really curious to see what the seedling looks like after birth. Due to the cue that the environment was improved maybe it is just an evolved form of humanity.

So many of these Dust film shorts are hit of miss! This one with the radio and TV filling in a fraction of the missing pieces was definitely a miss!

I'm thinking this is commentary on our reliance on technology, and that when the power went out, this lady went crazy. No actual aliens, lol.

Wonderful atmosphere & thought provoking imagery. Judging by most of the comments, not enough primary colours for the iphone users.

It's a documentary. A relatively low stress situation, until a woman crazies it all up.
Luckily in this example: nobody died.

Good one! Nice concept and plot! So simple, what 4 lines of dialogue, yet emotionally deep! Well done! Now create the movie!

I can stretch my imagination so far, but a Volvo with a working alarm module is just a bit too outlandish I'm afraid.

Nice subtle ending. Everyone went at it like bunnies when they thought they were going to die. Nicely done!

Oh my gosh, please give these creators money so they can make this into a full length feature film! PLEASE!

Humans aren't a threat to them, so they don't have to be a threat to us. understandable.
reply

Without the explanation on the radio at the end, this film would make zero sense.

Eight minutes of my life wasted, hoping a story would eventually develop. Crap.

The dialog of the last 30 seconds of the film made it worth watching. Great job!
reply

SO this film is basically about: Someone sees an alien for a few seconds.
reply

I see advanced aliens have issues with consent, much like college kids.

I liked the location, they get to live by the beach! Keep it up. Make more!
