1 all the play up to she has survived she takes care of herself and then she goes out in the world and is completely careless. BS would have been taken out long before
2 the show at the beginning all the care and preparation of the rifle, and then she completely does not know how to utilize the weapon properly shooting from waist and wasting shells on an unclear target BS.
3 someone who supposedly survived that long would never enter a building knowing she would be followed and limiting escape options
this for me is a 0. 5/10 only because I like dust

this looks well done the camera work is great but to be honest the scene where you had this noodle armed woman boxing made me chuckle, i get shes meant to play a gritty tough survivor, but as a gritty tough survivor she should realize that any situation were shes down to her fists to defend herself shes screwed if she doesint just use a knife, and i dont mean one of them fancy steel knives, shes better off with a flint stone knife than her bear hands. seriously a long sleeve shirt and some socks stuffed in the sleves could have made this scene passible. one other minor critiqe is that you should have used more of that fantastic first person perspective to build tension more.

Are the people praising this paid shills This short was about as dumb as the person starring in it. Hey I have this monster in my line of fire. Let me run into a dark building with a bunch of doors and corners so the monster can sneak up on me. Also I'll make sure to have this loud useless machinery that gives away my position. Why was she out n about anyway. She just walking around taking in the city If it was to get food or supplies she should've been running with a specific target in mind. For every good Dust short there's about 25 trash ones like this. I guess some of visuals weren't horrible except the monster. That was also trash to look at.

People who know nothing about firearms should avoid depicting them.
Obvious firearm technical errors:
The ammunition is shown in clips but because the scope is not offset the rounds must be stripped from the clip in order to load them. So why show ammo on stripper clips
The spare ammo she's carrying looks like linked ammo rather than ammo shoved into the loops of a bandolier. Linked ammo is essentially impossible to de-link by hand. Even with tools it is not a simple task.
When she first shoots she wastes those two shots as there is clearly nothing to shoot at and the weapon fires the second shot too quickly for a bolt action.

the happy ending is when the ferret loses a pound of two it will then be able to escape the cage and perhaps find rats to eat - well okay I admit that is not a happy ending for the rats - but also at least the creature now has fine fixings for a hearty meal - one would think a creature of that size does not often eat a good wholesome meal. Woman should have done a double tap to the head immediately and then used that revolver on her hip to finish the creature off - its called muscle memory when you find yourself in a live or die situation you don't think or hesitate you just react automatically - you know like the creature did.

Technically brilliant! The story is so good that you forget that you're watching a created world, and the visuals are seamless. I'm impressed with the depth of detail. It's all the tiny things you don't realize you're noticing, that makes a world believable.

I like that not every Dust video has a happy ending but damn it seems like they all have the protagonist failing anymore. it is nice to see the good guys win one every once in a while. this was still a pretty killer short tho. Fallout 4 anyone

Im sure if she spent more time scavenging for the hordes of food piled up. She would be much better off. There would be piles of food, fuel to survive with. Looks like not many people left. It is a very good movie, well done.

lost the count of whispering myself this is my best one while on Dust. The metro feeling, and creep was awesome. Maybe plot may have been enriched a little more. All in all, loved it a lot.

Why are ALL Dust videos so incomplete I am ALWAYS left unfulfilled with these videos. So few have a finished story line. Its just bad writing to leave viewers without an ending.
