First if you want to make essential fighting game take steelport from saints row 4 have your character with maximum power level and then add another character from their own save with I don't know maximum power level or whatever they got two and then you guys run around steelport and whenever you cross each other you have the ability to beat the s--- out of each other and there should be like a lock on function with our 3 or something so you can lock onto the other person in your game session so if you want to you can do focus shots on them with your powers and punches but still keep it complete open-world if the person you're fightin runs away then they run away and if you want to you can chase them or continue doing what you're doing it would be crazy it's like Grand theft Auto online but with super powers and make sure that your powers are depending on how far you made it in game

What you're saying is almost a hundred percent right this game is like a tree and you are the seed and as you grow there are many routes you can take that make the game feel completely original but after playing it like a hundred times and beating it like a hundred times you find out there's only like maybe 7-8 maximum 10 different branches on that tree but it's way better than normal sandbox game so I do agree this one does have a lot you can do you can become Opie in the beginning of the game if you really want or you can follow it regular or you can find something in-between and there's so many other ways to play this game so I do agree with you saints row is kind of like Grand theft Auto v Grand theft Auto real life while saints row throws a little bit of mysticism in it

Saints Row 1 felt like an Arcade Open World Sandbox, the more activities you completed, the more OP you got and better weapons were unlocked when you did those super annoying Hitman missions.
Saints Row 2 felt like a perfected Saints Row 1. Didn-t feel as much like an Arcade, but a proper Open World Sandbox. Same gimmick as Saints Row 1 but the activities were actually fun and don-t feel like a chore to do other than a few of them rather than a bunch of them in Saints Row 1.
Saints Row 3 streamlined everything and made a bunch of content utterly useless. Hitman and Chop Shop and some other activity had no reward attached to them. You just bought your way to being OP, which made the game easy and boring no matter what difficulty you played on.

my opinion may be controversial but i absolutely love saints row 3 and 4
they're so fun man, like the games are just saying it out loud that they don't care about any form of limitations set by fans' wishes from the series, in my opinion they provided true life and fun to the gang sandbox formula that was milked tf out in that era of gaming, and they really really did make a lot of interesting things and original ideas provided to the gaming scene back in the day

My favorite was Saint Row the third And agent of mayhem maybe a side game or spin-off If you go for the 7 endings of gat out of hell Creator of the game of agents of mayhem said it was a continuation of where you pick the world Is restored Because Johnny's a cop in agents of mayhem and in one of his ending he's a cop in, But if you want to talk to about team the new crew is not better than the old crew I will be team old crew.

I think the Saints Row reboot is fine because of the Saints row gat out of hell ending with the saints row universe being ret conned I know that it goes with the agents of mayhem story line but it could also go with the saints row reboot story line, I think the only bad thing about the Saints Row reboot is the character customization body is a little bit weird

Sad, but today's trends are stronger then developer's ideas & wishes, so evolution of Saints Row kept going until 2022 soft reboot, which resulted in degradation in every possible aspect of franchise.

I mean saints row 2 was a great first time play through. After that, it-s replay value is very low. They had a lot of additional details to distract from the simplicity of the graphics and gameplay

Saints row should have never left the streets gangs path. The super hero stuff was fun but just for a little, they should have left that as a DLC not just as the whole game.

Saints row 1 was by far the best game, they should have expanded with different gangs and different scenarios instead of going over the top
