A huge game industry shakeup, a disappointing new Alien game, PC gaming developments, and more in a chock-full week of gaming news brought to you by Jake Zephyrian: Game Stop could win me back, being more upfront and honest about their business practices, being more fair with trade ins, and they really need to understand that they own a large percentage of game stock, they are being undercut by the digital market which can be fought by fixing their price system. really tired of going to my local game stop and prices just being ridiculous at times and the price match and all that is a complicated and pointless endevour. the whole rewards system is pointless unless you yourself are getting inventory for like your own future store and you are buying up lots and lots of titles, even then they have been known to revoke points or deni you credits and such for playing the system they introduced. i think game stop would be smart to sell its retro and broken consoles to an amazon warehouse like system, where people can get the loose games cheaper, FP/Brkn consoles for self repair, a good idea would to partner up with a company like IfixIt and reallly brak ground in pushing people in self education Game Stop to me is just like a cheap gas station at this point, u dont wanna go there but u do cause got no where else atm.

Activision is a cancer. Thank GOD Bungie is getting their game back.
I used to be an avid Destiny fan. I used to do three strikes a week for legendary/exotic loot and then a nightfall if I felt frisky. PVP was also money. I still have videos from my time beating Trials of Osiris for the first time.
That being said, what they did with Destiny 2 left a bad taste in my mouth. Upon release, the game was a beta and I'll challenge anyone to prove me otherwise. The initial 2 DLCs were garbage and going forward, it was obvious the game lost it's soul with it's lack of consistent lore and loss of a bulk of their fan base.
I'm excited to see what comes of Destiny in the future. If there's two things I like, it's space adventures and robots (bonus points if I get both) and I've been withdrawing from the lack of space shenanigans. At this point though, I see Destiny fading into obscurity only because they 1. Burnt too many people on their climb up and 2. There are so many better options for games now that some time has passed.

The plot for the sequel:
Thor kidnapes kratos's son loki because he killed his two sons, and kills kratos in the process.
Kratos goes to hell...again...and is reborn there a young spartan warrior and has to fight his way out of hel. In the meanwhile, loki is being brainwashed by odin to think he's his son (just like the marvel movie).
Kratos gets out of hel after a loong time and goes to save -boy- whom is now odin's ally. Freya in the meantime is trying to get revenge upon kratos as well but sooner or later becomes his ally again and the duo set foot om a journey to kill odin.
Kratos manages to wake up loki after the latter kills kratos, but then regrets and puts his soul into the world's serpent that had died in a battle with thor when kratos was at hel. Kratos is being reborn as the great worls serpent, fights thor and kills him.
ragnarok begins, odins swears vengeance upom kratos and loki for his son's death in a secret ending
To be continued in the last part of the trilogy.

wow man, do your research first, Bungie took destiny back, activision did not relinquish it, read bungies contract when they signed they had all the ownership, publishing and creative rights in place, the things that went wrong where also bungies fault, they have previously admitted this, the only ''push'' from activision was micro trans which bungie initially proposed themself's in a published official statement from the CEO himself to sustain their new ''content'' model they realized this did not work and changed it for a second time.

This is a really good thing for Bungie since we have never seen the true potential of destiny because of the restrictions that activision had on them which is really not fair for the community since Bungie has received so much backlash because of the messed up multiplayer gameplay, glitches, and content which is really needed since the game is dying on the lack of content but the state of destiny right now seems like it-s going to have a comeback

I paused after the wrapup of the destiny news
Honestly i love the game, i always liked it and thought it was a cool halo-esque game with enough uniqueness to be its own thing. This is great news to me because without those money and deadline constraints being so tight they might be able to up the quality. I dont think destiny lacks quality, but more quality is always better than more quantity in gaming if you ask me

I like game stop cause when I buy games I get them preowned and no other store front has discounted game prices like game stop does. Yeah game stop doesn't buy your games for much money. But I just like game stop for their cheap prices. Idk why people say buying games digitally is better cause it's not. Those prices are always 60 bucks and that's crazy especially for like 2 or 3 year old games.

Originally i was a huge fan of destiny 1 but afther buying the game and all the dlc's bungie did the same thing with destiny 2 and i realised that its not worth buying the game and all the dlc's the content just isen't good enough, theres plenty of cheaper games that have better content then destiny 2 so i just wish you dident have to pay for like 5 dlc's every time bungie makes a destiny game....

It's great that Bungie left activision, but they still have a bad rep for me. Bungie let themselves become involved with activision in the first place after they left Microsoft. I'm still going to be skeptic about any game they will launch next and I am burnt out on Destiny so if the next game is Destiny, it has to be really good for me to go back. And I mean really good like god of war good.

Well I guess the DLC for GOW was going to be the size of -THE WITCHER 3- 's DLCs with side-stories and great content, but because of marketing issues, I think they decided it's too much work put into a DLC that might not sell. I like to think that the work they did is not thrown away, and is going to be a part of a future game :)
