Some parents just really don't like video games, and they'll go to great lengths to prevent their children from playing. Here are some weird examples Navnit: As someone who did relatively well at school it amazes me how much people think that getting good a 5 subjects makes you a success in life while failing at those things makes you a failure in life. Meanwhile every successful businessman I know are high-school dropouts. The day parents learn that academic achievement isn't everything in life, is the day humanity takes the next step into the future.
The basics of maths is important and English is important, the rest is give or take. Its more important early on to know what your child is good at and hone those skills instead of trying to force them to be good at something that the government thinks you should be good at. Most people at the government who decide this didn't pass those subjects themselves because seats in Parliament doesn't require a chemistry, biology, physics or geography degree.

When i was in 6th grade, my parents got divorced and my mother suspiciously suddenly already had a new boyfriend that had moved in with us like a week later. HMMMMMMMMMMM.
Naturally 12 year old me was not happy with this sudden change in my life's status quo and I naturally didn't take immediately to this dude who suddenly wants me to call him dad and say I love you and shit. Naturally my grades plummeted from As to Ds.
Their response? Ground me for literally an entire year. No friends no games no TV. For a year.
My response? Well I pissed on his tooth brush . Lol.

A lot of parents get their kids games as a means to keep them quiet or make them happy but knowing the consequences, they say things like I don-t want my kid spending all their time engrossed in video games-..so this year to make him happy I-m getting them a console or they are wild all the time so I-ll get them a console then COMPLAIN when they get the outcome they knew would happen! That their kid loves his game and spends his time on it

I need to understand this, what is not bringing a report card home going to do????
Make the parent forget that their child is in school?? I think not, a report card is not the only way to see your childs grades and just because they dont take it home for their parents to see wont stop the parents from finding out unless they dont give a s in which case they wouldnt care in the first place if their child has a gaming problem lol,

If my parents smashed my consoles when I paid for them; using my hard earned money from work, then there will be hell.
Now I do say: parents discipline your kids and control their behavior in a fashion that makes them better people.
What I don't condone is breaking things and humiliating people; thats a recipe for disaster by itself.

Number one where you have snitches get stitches is actually a crime and can have the police called as no matter who it is it's still public disturbance if the person's making too much noise. I can be walking on the sidewalk talking and if neighbors hear me at 2:30 in the morning they can call the cops on me and I can get fined

Pro Fortnite Tip: Buy Save The World for like 10 bucks, then you have an unlimited supply of V-Bucks, I sure as hell do. Never bought V-Bucks, but have all the battle passes and most of the cross over bundles, from STW I made like 20k V-Bucks over the years

Destroying your kids shit isn't cool. When it's something that you paid for its just disrespect and can be reported to the police as destruction of your property. That's right id take my parents to jail for Destroying my console as a lesson in itself.
