After about 4 years being stuck on old pc, being able to play just Roblox games (which a lot of them does have gacha and some even build on them), I can tell you it's not worth the money. I thought 1 dollar for a spin was quite horrible, but apparently genshin takes it up and offers like what, only 1/3 of a spin for dollar? Sadly enough as now I can finally enjoy good games and try to get my friends as well into those games.... they're stuck on Genshin. One thing is playing it casually but talking about it as only thing in the world (even planning to grind gems for next banners)... it gets annoying. That's what made me hate Fortnite as well, but same as Genshin, I did change my mind and even started playing it. Except Genshin I won't start again as MMO games simply became kind of uninteresting to me, game itself is actually great and it plays greatly even for free..... but the gacha is really breaking it for me.

I play on PC and it's actually really good as far as gameplay and the voice acting go (Paimon can be very annoying, but the quality of the voice acting is still great). I haven't spent money on it and I won't. Buying a virtual character for a game that is PVE is fine; gambling for a virtual character is just idiocy. You can get pretty overpowered with just your starting character, and at the same time not raising your world level. So you can really cater the difficulty level to how you want it with very little time investment.

The RNG mechanics of the gacha system / loot box is truly evil. Microtransactions are one thing, but not getting what you want upfront and leaving it to an extremely small random chance is a practice gamers shouldn't support. For that reason I don't want to play this game. They should sell players the characters and weapons they want directly in an online store without any random chance aspect.

I spend maybe 60-70 dollar in this game but never regretted it once, it get's you hooked but my broke ass can't afford to spend more so it's good for me that I start taking this game casually after 1 year of grinding, but overall this game is great....
just don't get addicted to the gacha system and you'll be fine.....

I think most game reviewers, especially western ones, are skeptical of the Gacha system. Please keep in mind, we get confirm free 5 star within 90 pulls with soft pity at 75(having 25-40% probablity).Its like paying 80$ for a 5 star character. Whether its reasonable or not is up to you.

I have not wasted 1$ on this game and have got every person i wanted from earning enough to make wishes in fun in game things. no money needed if your lucky and like the game enough to spend time playing it.

I love genshin impact, but definitely be warned that if you have any kind of gambling addiction DO NOT PLAY. the gacha system is very sneaky in getting you to spend more and more, little by little.

Haven-t used a single dollar on this game and I have almost all of my favourite characters and had been playing this game for almost a year. Still can-t believe this game is free
