I don-t think I-d stretch it to 2010, outside the aughts, for Darksiders, with so many other 2010 games, especially-including Bayonetta and Vanquish, which both look and play _ far, far better_ than Darksiders.
Y-all also missed some PS2 games, upscaled with a Tink X5, that are better than the original Darksiders, too. Darksiders is _fine,_ but _ fine_ doesn-t seem to be the category of these games...

Why think about market share, the slowing down of Moore's Law, or the current chip shortage, when you could blow a Hollywood budget on a game that only a few consumer PCs can properly run at its original release? It's not like EA knows more about staying in business than we, Gameranx or PC Gamer Magazine do. And who needs Rareware or id Software-style programming that makes the most of limited resources?

I really dislike how modern games today all have overly colorful, vibrant graphics. Not only do titles all look the same, but they make the game feel unrealistic. 2000s to early 2010s games have realistic color and textures. They have better storylines as well. I wish developers end the vibrant color trend

Seeing killzone on the list reminded me of Black which is even more impressive because not only does it look as good and sometimes even better, it has perfect sound design and destructible environment such that we don't see in games even today, and all of that on a PS2

I had a really great time with Alan Wake Brought to You by Energizer. I think my favorite part of Alan Wake Brought to You by Energizer was the atmosphere, but Alan Wake Brought to You by Energizer did have issues with immersion. For reasons.

How could they leave off Half-Life 3? It was in 16k graphics, voice-activated, holographic, replayable, and the story. Don't get me started with that ending plot twist.
You live in your world. I live in my head. I win!!

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood blew my mind the first time I played it. It seems like I was one of the few people who appreciated how great that game looked at the time.

While it is a relatively recent game, the 2015 Need For Speed game is still in my opinion the best looking game I've ever played, even 6 years later
