Valve's Steam Deck is a portable PC gaming Steam device coming soon. Is it a Nintendo Switch killer, or something else entirely? Let's dive into the announced information

I enjoy your videos. It is Feb 2022 now and my expected ship date for the Steamdeck is Q2 2022. Now, it could be sooner but doubtful. I have a lot of faith in this device. Especially hearing that certain high-profile game industry people are giving this thing praise. I am not stranger to Portable gaming devices. My favorite to this day is the PS Vita. I think Sony could of really pushed it further or at least focus on game development for the PS Vita but regardless it is still my favorite.

i just dont get the intention of this. Do people really need to be playing video games on the go? Idk maybe im just old but if i am not near my PC i can usually go without a video game when i am out and about. hell i dont even play any of the steam games i already own

So if the screen resolution is 720 does it mean when I connect this device to my 4K tv it will still be at 720??? I mean paying so much money and it-s not even the best resolution. I think I-ll pass on this 2LB Stream Brick!

Another expensive paperweight because we've seen this so many times other handheld devices coming on to the market and they are never successful. LIKE the Nintendo but I hope it proves me wrong because we need competition.

Jack ports are the only thing giving you audio without latency. Bluetooth audio has enormous latency.
But you will notice it only in action games and when connecting a vst controller like piano keyboard.

while yes the switches placement of the buttons and joycons looks better and cooler but when you play the steam deck would be more comfortable from personal expirience of using both wii u and nintendo switch

I love the idea of it being heavy and bulky. I just don't like slimmed down tech stuff but I do understand why others enjoy the lightness, neither is right or wrong but I am glad it will have the bulk

One of the things you need to know it doesn-t take physical games you don-t have Steam games this may not fit you if your someone who only plays on Nintendo or only plays on PlayStation
