it would be cool if starfield made a new marker on Earth you could explore, an abandoned Vault from Vaul-tec, like a prototype, but the bombs never fell, so they went out of business.
as for the ps5 pro, i mean people just started being able to get their hands on it in the last two years because scalpers were finally put out of business. secondly, the one thing people want with an upgraded system isnt just faster graphics and processing power, but BIGGER DRIVES. if the ps5 pro isn't coming with at least a 4tb ssd (better if it were 8 or 10tb) then its not really worth it because at this point, i can like install 3 games before having to delete one to install something else cuz each game is almost 200GB with all the patches and whatnot, and since system programs take up about 400GB already, that barely leaves 600 GB free. its straight up garbage. especially since consoles are adamant on pushing digital only releases.

ps5 pro is inevitable - yes there is less excitement compared from the ps3 to ps4 days however this is due to how fast technology is advancing. it is ultimately a war for consumer's attention. the more product/service they can squeeze out of every bit of tech available, the more of our attention is bought. more favor and moneys roll in ultimately at the end of the day for them. they are trying to get closer and closer to pc status without selling the console as a pc becaus the pc is put together by many different components from varying brands. sony wants u to only buy their console at the end of the day. they want to give us all those configuration options that pc games can give us. however the thing with games is that its not all about graphical performance. i. e. ray tracing is not the requirement for every single game. and not all gamers want or require ray tracing either.

Why are we getting a pro I don’t think they’ve pushed the PS5 original to the max. We’ve barely gotten any PS5 exclusives. A lot has been ps5/ps4 releases. This just seems like a want for money. So many people only got their console within the last year or two, and the current console is vary expensive, so alot of people who wouldve been interested probably wont be able to justify the purchase. I also dont think that the current generation needs a bump in resolution as much as the ability to play every game in 60fps, cosidering that not everybody owns a 4k tv (and theyre also quite expensive, so I struggle to see the need for new hardware, when the desired effect could be achieved through optimisation and some upscaling.

I just got my Ps5 slim not that long ago and i play on a beast pc (4080 13700k 32gb drr5 ram yayaya) Anyway, i think the most next gen thing currently on ps5 is i guess m. 2 sdd. Some specific feature when connected online. The Dual Sense controller. Like what was Next Gen with the ps5 that you go ok now that's is so cool vs past gen consoles I think the ps5 right now is in a good spot for growth and the pro version just seems like a check list that already decided years ago to happen anyways so even if it feels rushed for no reason i think things thing will get even better a months and weeks past by. I think Ps6 might be the one when Next Gen will actually be Next Gen

In my eyes, consoles need to adapt. It used to be much easier to get a bunch of games on board for every launch cycle, but now games take much longer to make and it makes the launch lackluster. I think they should shift to a more modular design in which a console is released with top of the line hardware, but also allows for them to sell easy to install upgrades to make the lifecycle longer. 7ish years per generation just doesn't cut it anymore, some games take that long to make in the first place, so the game libraries are shrinking with each generation because they just can't keep up.
This is why we need a one and done definitive console that can last a long time.

Personally, on the ps5 pro side of things, I have a production quality projector, the light is amazing, the color fidelity incredible, it has physical lens shift so no pixel shifting, blah blah blah I have a really great 9’ tv that disappears whenever I want BUT it’s 1080p basically I don’t care about 4k, I don’t care about 8k, my frame rate tops at 60fps, I’m 1000% here for the ray tracing, for better lighting, and better hdr though.

Fallout show had the dumbest writing. And They really leaned into the capitalism bad modern dayism, the dumbest motivation to blow up the whole world to make more money, how they gonna make more money if the world is blown up! Amazing writing! Smh. All these people that get hoodwinked by dumb writing and think this show is so good with with all the dumb writing i lost all respect for, you cant be that low of a critical thinker.

I agree with Cain on this one. Shoddycast did this fun Fallout series called the Storyteller in which a Brotherhood member found himself always arguing with an NCR ranger about the identity of the Chosen one and the original vault dwellers actions. Kind of made the games somewhat of an unreliable narrative and made for great replays because you know that they don't have to match up exactly

I never played the fallout games, in fact they're still sitting in the unopened ps4 packages, I recently binged the fallout series and was extremely impressed and I give it a 9. 9 out of 10, I didn't care for the soundtrack, ella, Aaron, and Walton were outstanding in the roles, great supporting cast and fantastic sets and locations, im looking forward to season 2 and beyond, new york

I never wanted a PS5 because I'd rather put that into my PC. Also, once they stop supporting the PS4, what happens to the digital versions of games I have dics for my favorite games. That doesn't mean I also don't have digital ones. I'll keep those on my PC. No more consoles. However it's sad that PC ports are more and more dumbed down due to consoles being considered over PC.

I Enjoy a little bit of Fallout to me if the show just did it's own thing and was not related to any story in the game i am fine with that i think they captured the vibe/feel of the Fallout games pretty good for a live action series the spirit of Fallout was there all the nerd stuff but i can se how some people might get upset if it's not lore/timeline correct.

I had the ps4 then it broke and later on bought a ps4 pro on eBay for the same price. But for those who wait and buy the ps5 day one and later on their system gets out classed is a slap in the face. Who doesn’t want something that better and faster. I think they should stop doing these mid-cycle refresh. They should add those upgrades to the new consoles.

Really enjoying the fallout series, currently up to episode 5.
Looking forward to getting the platinum on PS5 for fallout 4, really wish they would patch fallout 3 and New Vegas to work on current PCs as they are an absolute mess.
My purchase of a PS5 pro is almost assured, it just hinges on the amount of objection I get from my wife

I couldn't care less about the PS5 Pro. I bought the PS4 Pro when it came out, and while it was good it wasn't worth rebuying the PS4. This appears to be even less of an upgrade.
No double-dipping for me in this console generation. I'd rather save the money and maybe spend it on some more killer games, be it PS5, XsX, or PC.

Just like you, if some media comes out about a franchise that already exists that differs from the original, I just take it as it is. I'm not really hardcore into lore of things in the sense that I take it that seriously and nerd out about plotholes, goofs, etc. Some people take that shit too seriously like it's their job or something.

I would be excited for a better console, but when you see the current consoles not being utilized, it doesn’t make much sense to upgrade. I think this has been the worst generation for gaming consoles being used to their max. I can remember so many games pushing the limits growing up, but I don’t feel that same way this generation.

I feel like the fallout show missed heavily with what they could’ve done with vault 33 but yet again our father leaves the vault (weather by force or choice) and we leave the vault to find father. The show is entertaining to watch but did we really have to see that damn fridge scene like 12 times

Surprised they didn't port/remaster fallout 3 and new vegas for the show release. PS5s getting advertisements for the fallout series and it seems silly when the is only fallout 4 and 76. I have the others on PC but I would totally purchase an updated version just for convenience and my love for the series
