Deathloop: 10 things the game doesn't tell you

DEATHLOOP (PC, PS5) is an Arkane FPS with lots of surprises and tricks. Here are some beginner tips to get you started Tony: I have this game for PC with an Nvidia card and it crashes constantly. I have been in touch with Bethesda support and tried their suggestions but nothing worked. I believe I have narrowed the issue down to the latest Nvidia driver - version 496.49. After some google searching I found that Nvidia has a hotfix for this driver due to some other games crashing. For some reason they don't make it easy to find out about this hotfix. Deathloop is not mentioned as one of the games known to be fixed by this update but I downloaded this Nvidia version 496.61 anyway and so far I haven't had any more crashes. I am hoping this helps others as I was also getting crashes in Far Cry 6 after applying the 496.49 driver. I believe 496.61 has fixed that as well. Thanks.

Honestly after the First tip, I was like... Yeah, of course the game DOESN'T TELL YOU, where a super powerful weapon is hidden. The game is literally about exploration. Didn't watch the rest of the Tips, as I expect it would just be more locations of items or skills. The Title of the video gives the impression that there are some hidden features that are never explained.

If you don't have shift yet and want the gun early, you can deactivate those security lasers in the Complex and get that silenced LIMP-10 by standing on the roof, looking down off the edge towards the front-right part of the building and there is a window you can shoot the power box through to deactivate everything.

K. Great video.
I love fps games and exploring, adored Prey, Dishonored and Arkane is an awesome studio.
Right now during the Christmas Steam sale Deathloop is $39.99, but so is Resident Evil 8 which I want too.
I only wanna buy one, but which one?

Started playing the game over the weekend. Bought it based on your before-you-buy video. I-ve been enjoying it, but felt like there were some key things I was missing. Figured you-d have a video about that, and sure enough. Much appreciated.

The Heritage Gun with Crack Shot, Speedloader and Lightning Strike is SUPER OP. After I got the Heritage Gun, Julianna never killed me again. My 2nd fav is the Dual Handguns that transform into a burst fire SMG.

Maybe I just didn't know enough about the game before release but all the trailers and previews of this game made it seem like a wild intense shooter when it's actually a stealth game... Dishonored but with guns.

Hacking doesn't need LOS at all once you get the hack off, you can even go out of range usually. The improved hack range seems like it should be baseline though, the basic range is incredibly short

People are you all serious about the silenced smg? I got it without any slabs - just hack the turrets through the window from outside, break the glass, climb in - that easy!

In case you still hit 0x887A0006 - I was able to stop the errors after I turned off my GPU overclock. (which worked fine for all other games..) - 5800x -> EVGA 3090 Hybrid
