Going with #1, carry weight. If playing an average female in a video game who probably weighs 120 lbs but can carry 300x her weight. Or a dude who weighs 180 to 220 lbs carrying 100x-200x his weight. Or even if you go overweight and you start walking incredibly slow you're still able to carry 1,000x your weight. But when a fight scene comes up, you're back to normal but still have all that crap on you. Witcher 3 and the Fallout series are good examples of this.

#7...yeah, noticed that for years. RDR2-long abandoned house or broken down ruins always has a fire or lanterns that light up after dark. Another thing about those long-abandoned ruins/temples-they always have wolves, tiger or other creatures living in them. Sealed for thousands of years but, you open one and go in and suddenly you run from critters. What were they doing? Watching the Jerry Springer Show for all that time?

I think I heard on a video that Sephiroth's Super Nova occurs in -another dimension,- but the impact of it hits you. Still.... makes no sense though, unless you end up that expansion with -because magic.-
Also.... isn't weird that the planets being destroyed are the ones in OUR solar system... like, the REAL solar system and not the one of planet Gaia, which is where FF7 takes place.

You want to talk about nonsensical inventories? Look at the Far Cry 6 inventory... apparently, you can carry ALL the guns, ALL the wardrobe, ALL the Supremos, but God forbid you could carry different ammo types! Oh, no, mister! You want to switch ammo types? You have to do it in a workbench, anything else would be crazy!!!

In Battlefield 2 (the last BF I played), I had dropping C4 from an airplane down to a science. Fly over your target sideways, jump out drop the C4 and jump back in the plane in a smallest fraction of a second. then, a few seconds later do it again to detonate. SO much fun.

What about games where you can't jump, like at all? Mass Effect is a great offender of this. They added a vault ability but you still can't jump and it's clearly to keep you on the map where they want you for the story.

That happens in Batman when hunting for Riddler trophies. We have to solve the puzzle to get the trophy, but a wire-cutter is also sufficient. Batman's got all those fancy gadgets, so a wire-cutter isn't hard to make.

You forgot beeing able to pause mid-fight and go in inventory to heal yourself. Like in Skyrim when you are getting mauled by a dragon, just to stop time and eat a full cheese wheel and go back to fight.

The funniest thing with Sephiroth's Supernova in original FF7 is he usually uses it TWICE in the entire fight. So not only does he destroy the entire solar system, including the sun, he does it TWICE.
