Water levels in games are notorious for being just the worst. Here are our least favorite examples through gaming history Burique: idk if people agree about this..
but i think u miss Dino Crisis 2 from PS1, there is underwater section too that make the character move slower and the enemy is Dino that can freely diving and move faster then the character played..
and also the Boss -Plesiosaurus- that, for me feels really anoying boss fight..

Holy crap, I legit tried to wash #7 from my memory, and THERE IT IS AGAIN! lol this episode was one of THEE WORST things in the entire franchise lol, you go from waxing enemies super stylishly, to slow swimming and using a random ass harpoon gun. Thee absolute worst lol

i have a huge phobia of water and the ocean. These levels literally ruin games for me! I loved sekiro but i stopped playing at fountainhead palace. The underground waterway was hard enough for me.

I've played Star Fox 64 god knows how many times (and is still one of my all-time favorite games across all systems). But I've never played the underwater level. I didn't even know there was one.

I agree the lvl in Madness returns was long but it wasn't that bad but then you are right about it being the same all over and dragging a bit. Its tolerable though.

The little mermaid level in kingdom hearts broke my heart. It's my fave Disney film and having to play through that shitty level made me hate kingdom hearts slightly.

Ever thought about how space gets breathing privileges but not water? Why does water have to abide by realism's respiratory mechanic?

Can I point out how bad the water levels were in the sinking city, and if you haven't played the sinking city then you're missing out
