PS5 JAILBROKEN? NEW SPLINTER CELL ISN'T OPEN WORLD, & MORE Sonaka: I know you don't have enough time, but atleast play the Shadowbringers expansion itself. Normally I wouldn't recommend a story skip to get to it. But honestly, Shadowbringers is considered one of the best FF experiences in all of FF history.
And if you don't like the idea of skipping stuff, atleast try playing it off and on here and there. With it being a mainline FF game, naturally it's long, but if you have a boosted character, then you don't have to sit in waiting queues for dungeons and boss fights, you can just solo them with an insta queue, thus allowing you to spend the time with story only.
Don't let the 'MMO' full you, this is more JRPG than MMO. Honestly I'd consider it a JRPG with Co-op rather than an MMO with a story.

Monetizing video games is one of the worst ideas. I don't mind dlc if it adds new story content, like expansions. Other sort of content, cosmetic or not providing more to do within the game I dislike. These types don't add anything substantial to a game and thus are mostly worthless. NFTs are just another aspect of that. Deplorable.
PS4 jailbroken? I'll have to check it out to see if I can do so with mine. I'd love time be able to run homebrew just like I do with my Vita. Now if only the same could be done for Switch but Nintendo is keeping an hyper vigilant grip on their system.

I feel like they're making a remake of the first Splinter Cell to see how well it sells before they go about with a brand new game. Or they want to try and make some upgrades to the old series because of how old it is, like what Sega did with Yakuza.

The Stalker-developers did NOT quickly walk back on their decision; They first doubled down on it with a whole explanation as to why it's OK.
Only when people hammered down on them AGAIN they decided to put their hands up and just let it go.

I'll gladly wait for the new splinter cell game to be reviewed before making a decision. Ubisoft jas a mixed track record.
The good news is that Conviction and Blacklist both hold up very well.

I would a new splinter game but at this point I'll take the remastered but it gotta be good and not rushed like the gta triology. And I agree on the chaos theory game mechanism

How many patches is it going to take Ubisoft to make the Splinter Cell remake worth playing? I say at least a day 1 patch which will just fix the game crashing bugs.

I would like to believe Sam Fisher was badass in his younger days maybe a game with splinter cell before he was on the first splinter cell that I think would be dope.

Mike Bithell says that remakes is a good way to test the waters, a game that is easy to make, so cheap, and if people buys it it might very well lead to a new game
