Video game bosses are typically large, but these baddies are absolutely massive Vampiric: She's not really a boss (for your character anyway) but Kalros, the Mother of Thresher Maws, in Mass Effect 3 is massive. She takes down a Reaper Destroyer (skyscraper sized Reapers) by constricting it. To be able to wrap herself around a Reaper that much, while still being partially submerged underground, can you imagine how HUGE she must be. I mean her movement can cause massive earthquakes on Tuchanka, for pete's sake. I will never forget the awe of watching that fight. It's still one of the best highlights of playing ME3 for me.

To be fair to the Dragon God, it seemed like a good idea at the time how they did the boss fight. And the developers did learn from it.
One of these days, I really need to play the acid trip that is Asura's Wrath. Who needs anything else when the whole game is over the top in the spectacle department?
