Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
Just because the player has spent the whole game in a jet doesn't make this pair any less insane.
With the exception of only a handful of missions, the player has spent the entire game fighting a combination of drone aircarft & human pilots.
The Arsenal Bird is this enemy super weapon du jour in the game, even thoough the classic area of the Stonhenge weapon does also make an appearance. I cannot overstate just how MASSIVE the craft is and it is armed to the teeth with turrets, lasers, and drones.
Once the Arsenal Bird is no more, the player goes to the Space Elevator where two of the most agile and avanced drone enemies are, and the mission finishes when all drones are down and the player does a 90 degree vertical climb and the controls are super sensitive in a vertical

For me its the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2. I felt like thats where Sheperd's leadership was put to the test. Making sure the Normandy was fully decked out so that you can pass through the Omega-4 relay in one piece. Then selecting the right squad member for the right role in saving the Normandy crew and finally going on an all-out assault on Harbinger and the collectors. Made me really feel like I was in Sheperd's shoes. I wish I could reset my memory and play that again for the first time, it was amazing.

I totally agree for Uncharted - I died like nine times trying to do that because of all the chaos, even though it was my SECOND time completing the story mode - as I barely managed to finish it the first time.

Doom Eternal looked great and had some fun levels but the constant jumping around swinging from convenient bars and puzzles ruined that game for me. I'll rip and tear in Doom 2016 all day long.
