Another thing that I realized was that oftentimes I was too stubborn on a boss. I've wasted hours on bosses thinking I'd beat them then next time. But the next time never happens. If you're not reducing boss's health to atleast 3/4 each time you die, then the game is telling you you're to underleveled to beat the boss.

I made the first -mistake- and regret nothing. Fighting the tree sentinel has brought life to a whole arsenal of skills I will now take forward with me in my elden ring adventure. I chose wretch, I beat the gold-clad brute with my club and me bare ass, most fun in a game i've had in years

Some advice would be have a guide such as the wiki handy since the quest can be more vauge and confusing then previous souls games especially since just about everyone of them entwines with 2 or more quest and/or arnt complete as we seen in the last update.

I was a jack of all trades starting eldin ring and it was fine.. i switched to a paladin build later bc i wanted to use higher level faith abilities.. infact i feel like ER is much more forgiving and -easier- then previous souls games..

As a dark souls vet I honestly thought they had just removed two handing after looking thru the controls and not finding it. This video has helped me TREMENDOUSLY THANK YOU

I'm a New player but Damn. I did manage to Defeat Margit but with 50+ deaths. The amount of patience and head scratching is countless but I still did it. Timing is really the Key hahaha

I'm 40 hours in the game, beat two demigods, am lvl 70...all with no idea about how twohanding works and with the baldachins blessing constantly active...yeah, I'm dumb.

The blessing you get from Fia is actually beneficial if you use it when you need it, The amount of poise it gives you is actually really nice against certain boss fights
