10 boss weapons that get nerfed when you unlock them

Some video game weapons make an incredible first impression....until you get it in your hands. Here are some awesome weapons that get nerfed upon use SyniStar616: To be fair on the Freeze Blast from the Arkham games, it's not really a combat weapon in the sense that it does damage. It was designed to be a puzzle tool. In example, you're exploring Gotham, looking for Riddler nonsense, and you see a glowing green goon in a crowd. Use freeze blast on him, take out the rest of the crowd while he's frozen, then interrogate him without running the risk of knocking him unconscious. Additionally, let's say you're in a predator sequence and there's an armored goon or a mini gunner or some other nasty goon that you wanna lock down for a little bit, freeze him, take out his buddies, then deal with the problem.

In many cases the explanations should be fairly easy. For things like Virgil and the Yamato, it's not inconceivable that the weapon is specifically attuned to his particular devil energy, which is a reasonably good explanation for a lot of situations (like in God of War as well). In other cases it's more a matter of people attributing too much of a boss' skill to the weapon and not the actual boss. Finally, time is probably a factor. The boss has had years (presumably) to get good with a particular weapon.

You seem to completely have misunderstood the weapons of Dark Souls. It is nowhere implied in those games that you get a boss' abilities/powers with the weapon. And it's not like a boss gets powers from the weapon he/she/it was holding. You get a weapon with some of the move-set of the boss, but you are not the boss, and the weapon has to bee created first: you can't -nerf- something which didn't exist before.

the worst boss weapon(im counting this as a weapon because the player can obtain it, and use it in various ways), Minecraft dragon's breath. shit is LEATHLE when used against you but, I mean sure you can make some fancy arrows ig that is if you remember to bring fkin water bottles for some reason to the end, then sacrifice half your health just getting like 8 bottles before it disappears.

I agree with you in megaman I have megaman 11 and let me tell you fuze man is a ripoff it-s not worth the trouble it is such a difficult level and then his attack is so useless. Also if you-re planning on playing the game go for blockman first he is easy to beat and his weapon is OP

It makes sense if it's not the actual character using it and you just unlock it, coz they're not exactly proficient with it as much as the original user.
Now when the original user and the weapon is together, then there's no excuse....maybe it starts them off, lore-wise, at level 1.

The Freeze Blast being nerfed makes sense when you consider that Batman wouldn't want it to retain its lethality. Similar to how the explosive gel he uses really only stuns any thugs that are caught in the blast instead of killing them or something.

I feel like some games nerf the boss weapons when they player uses them because the player is not the big or strong compared to the boss. So it would only make sense that the player does less damage with said weapon

The Torch in Bloodborne...
Enemies can jab & immolate you in spam fashion.
I'm thinking -a quick offhand Weapon to Jab with; seems useful-
Your Character in Bloodborne swings the Torch in neanderthal fashion
