I'm going to love Elden ring, but this begs to question. What's the next step above elden ring?
We had combat of ds3 sped up because of positive reception from bloodborne, we had a new style of play brought with sekiro that fragments of are clearly brought here in elden ring
Combat looks and appears more fluid and smooth so what's the next step of a game past this? What is the bar going to be set at to expand past what they already have set in motion? It makes me even more eager to see what they can continue with from this

-too last gen-? really?! are people that spoiled with their -next gen- graphics that they are forgetting what true art looks like?! This game looks like a souls game and I absolutely adore it, I can't wait for this game to come out and I hope it stays exactly how it looks in the trailer.

I-m admittedly cautious, simply because lightning can strike only so many times, and with all the ambition behind this game, I hope it-s not misplaced. If nothing else, I hope I can come out of it saying -that was as good as dark souls, but had an identity easily distinguishable from dark souls.-

Can-t agree more, I don-t think the graphics are really all that bad. But the gameplay and everything else FS puts in their games, and ability to actually hook me to the lore through items, is the reason I love their games. Not to mention the bosses and enemy types they seem to come up witg

-Plot Twist:- -So in LOTR, Gollum stole the ring from Frodo baggins. The ring teleported itself to Elden Realm and began its primary weapon and treasure. But Gollum again stole it and now is on a run. We will find the ring, teleport back to Middle-Earth and defeat the final boss Sauron. -

All I want is for the coop to either be like Nioh 2 where you can easily join a friend's lobby and go through the missions together one at a time or full fledged coop where you can just go through the entire game with someone instead of being kicked out after the area's boss.

It looks like it's primarily drawing from the Dark Souls series but with some elements of the other games like the stealth. I hope the co-op is not too restricted. I'd love to roam the open world with a friend. I'm very curious to see how that will work.

About high end graphics, I honestly would rather have them not too great, I don't want great graphics, I'd rather have ok graphics that I can run well and that I can stream. Which I feel if I'll be streaming it I'll have to turn down the quality a bit.

lol not looking -next gen-. i think a lot of console buyers are gonna be really disappointed over the next couple years. 4k 60fps with raytracing is never gonna happen on these consoles, not even close.

from what i saw i can say this game will be the best game Dark Souls like ever made like one more game i know between Torchlight 1 - 3 they made Wolcen Lords of Mayhem so....Mayhem surpasses them all :D
