Overall I don't feel that there are any must have games this year. There are several very interesting ones still coming, but it will be difficult to pick GOTY, unless there is some real surprise, like Guardians of the Galaxy was last year.
But so far the best would be:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
- GOTY contender
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands
- Might be the best Borderlands game
Sniper Elite 5
Dying Light 2: Stay Human
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
- This should have been much better, but for some reason, I kinda like it. Way too much.
Elden Ring
- I do think it is over-rated. It good for sure, would not have platinumed it if it weren't, but no GOTY
Horizon: Forbidden West
- It could have been better at the end, not just a typical second game in a trilogy
Shadow Warrior 3
LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga
Weird West
I haven't played V Rising or Quarry. yet.

Sifu - 9/10
Horizon Forbiden West -8/10
Dying Light 2 -8/10 (basically these are the games I really liked this year so far)

I have not purchased any of these games as on steam I am just buying other games on the sale at the moment, but the second half of this year is gonna have my wallet drained.

Dying light 2 is a great game I enjoyed it but it felt so quick like you barely spend time playing with a NPC for the story then you move on to the next and then I slowed down dis side quests and explored when I went back to the main story o was so over powered the game wasn t a challenge anymore

LOVE lists like this, a real celebration of gaming. Huge respect for including Lego SW and Kirby, love both those games. Kirby surprised me as well, i played the demo not expecting much and loved it! Reminded me of Astros Playroom. Only complaint is coop is a bit meh

Honestly, Elden Ring is shit! It doesn't even deserve to be in this list if you're honest. It's just Dark Souls with outdated graphics, an unrewarding open world and no quest tracker. It doesn't even have a good story. The most overrated game ever!

Yes, The Elden Ring. I love From Software games and i was sure it'll be great but this game has just overgrown my expectations. It's so massive and rich that it is hard to express. Surely one of the best games in my almost 30 years of gaming.

elden ring would be amazing for me if the combat wasn't so frustrating, specifically the dodge mechanic. It's a crucial part of the game and it just takes so long for the dodge to actually register. I refunded the game because of it.

So this guy has put Sifu above Horizon no not at all
Horizon has the best graphics on a game across both consoles
I've got both had many AAA games on both and non compares to Horizon
