Nah, it was never underrated, it was simply (and still is) filled with bugs because bugthesda made all in their power to make it impossible for obsidian to release a finished product, and the scores suffered for it.
New Vegas remains as a tesament, with a few other games, of what a true RPG should be, there's nothing quite like it that has been released in recent years. And everytime you replay this game and then play modern -RPGs- it becomes even more bittersweet and obvious how much the vidya industry is going down the drain.

What rock did you crawl out from. Every fallout fan I know praises it to be the best one. I was never once in my 6 playthrouhs ever said -man this game needs more exposure.- Fallout 3 was a hit. Everyone and their grandmother's were ready for release.

good video, maybe try out hardcore mode and maybe make that a video since I personally feel that it changes the whole game especially, with ammo weight you really have to rethink which weapons to use.

While this game will go down in history as one of the best, I can only imagine how it would have been if they were given 2-4 years to complete this masterpiece. It would have been LEGENDARY.

I've heard (not sure if its true) that bethesda somehow lowered the revues to avoid paying bonuses to obsidian that they would have gotten if the game reached 85 on metacritick

FO4 is the most highly underrated of the Fallout series. It's far deeper than most players will ever realize.

New Vegas is why '76 disappointed the faithful. '76 kept all the stuff that didn't make fallout, fallout. The bugs alone break .multiplayer - and are often hilarious.
