Xbox is acquiring Activision Blizzard for billions of dollars, reshaping the gaming industry for years to come. Let's dive into the details Lost: xbox didnt buy this... microsoft did, major difference, if an xbox exec walked into microsoft meetings about blizz and said some shit like -my plans- they would be laughed out if not fired. you xbox CHILDREN have not a clue what real gaming is, hopefully blizzard can teach yall some shit. thank god activision is out of the equation.... but seriously, lol xbox gained nothing but maybe a few games will be released on them now that were not before, like, literally thats all you gained.... xbox does not own blizzard, and blizzard is so massively far ahead of xbox, that its laughable to think xbox could fathom purchasing a 70 billion dollar company. rofl. just like blizzard is still its own thing, runnin itself under new management, xbox is no dif, they dont control anything outside of xbox. lmao this is like saying -blizzard has major plans for xbox!- rofl just stop

I'm done with Activision. Microsoft won't save them unless they fix everything already as a issue. At most I see them looking forward than fixes from now.
I understand devs had it hard from workplace conditions, but the lack of development and bugs with them going -don't blame us-, as I hope a better workplace environment, there's still lack of accountability as a whole. If it wasn't a great workplace, don't work there and expect a 'oh poor me' moment while players were still PAYING for content. Let's also point out how half assed rebirth was since it's just a rip from Mobile.
Touching on mobile, that's Tencent development. Which is entirely half-assed. Activision even let players -believe- they -tossed- Tencent but used a subsidary of Tencent like the community wouldn't notice, as the same problems are still there.
Let COD fall off.

I feel like Microsoft as a company is attempting to fly under the radar. Buying out the most popular creation companies, the metaverse. They better be careful. If they get too ambitious and piss off the rest of the gaming community they could get labeled as a monopoly and be stripped entirely of all their holdings. NOBODY likes a greedy dirt bag. All I-m saying is that they are currently stepping on the line and that they better mind their P-s and Q-s. Many people (myself excluded) despise Xbox entirely and if their lust for more gets in the way of gamers and the games they enjoy there won-t be a dollar amount they could offer or the smallest fraction of a rock they could hide under to protect them from the -fallout- that follows.

As soon as blizzard + activision was a thing, it seemed to go down hill. I'm not sure microsoft will make things better, but the trajectory, in my eyes, was already in such a poor direction, that at least there's a chance things will be made better.
I kinda felt the same way about Bethesda, they kept releasing games that were kinda lackluster, trying to monetize mods. Just wasn't a good look, and I'm hoping they will be a bit more like they used to be under microsoft. They might not be, but again, they were headed in a bad direction IMO anyway, so what have we got to lose by shaking things up with these companies having new ownership?

Would love to see Microsoft buy some studios that make 3rd person action adventure game because that is what they are missing in my opinion. They already have top of the line first person shooters & did not really need more of that. Also they just seem to buy studios who are on a downward trajectory like Bethesda & Blizzard and MS reputation when it comes to developing masterpieces is basically non existent at this point so i don't really see how they will improve these studios but i hope they prove me wrong.

So they just bought a company which had to apologize to their fans because they are so shit. Pretty much everyone important left Blizzard already and all the WOW fans play FF14 now (btw FF14 is not available for the Xbox). Reminds me on that 'superdeal' when they bought Rare and no one cares about Rare anymore. Good going Microsoft, lmao.

I hate microsoft. Every version of windows comes out like crap and their licenses and updates basically bricked my 360. I bought like 20 games on 360 that I now have to upgrade to the Xbone to play. Besides remember RRoD? Microsoft comes out with shitty products

I-m on pc and I have blizzard and I play call of duty a lot so am I going to have to restart everything my account and everything and download Xbox or Microsoft to play warzone or will everything just take me to Xbox

People need to understand this. Call of Duty's main way to gain money is by Micro Transactions (or DLC's). If it would become xbox exclusive, they would only gain 15% of COD's current income (over long time).

With Sony buying Bungie, you can't help but be curious as to what these two tech giants are planning in their competition... Feeling excited what they have for us in store!
