The Witcher 3 NEXT-GEN - Before You Buy Matt: Enjoyed the video and I definitely enjoy playing me some Witcher 3 I play on Xbox One x I don't have the series x yet but intend to get it soon one of the issues I've had in the game is there's areas in the map that obviously have a little bit of room that you could go and explore but I think the maps cut off your area of travel a little bit before they really should and also whoever you pick between Jennifer or Tris there's love scenes in the game right so whenever you finish the game and you settle down with your special partner and you have all the free time in the world why can't you do free bedtime sparring fun whenever you want why is not that been addressed

Hey Jake
One quick question
I played this in 2017 and 2019
Got myself around 6 hrs into the game and story
Then I lost interest and got bored
I left it
Same thing happened in dragon age inquisition
Maybe these game are too much RPG for my taste?
Or can this upgrade be the reason I finally get myself into playing it?
Bc I bought the complete edition in 2020 and it has been there ever since
If So, what do you recommend? Story first? Side quests first? Approach the game in a certain way? Tips? Tricks?

Doesn t matter how pretty this games is. Tried to play it 3 times, and I always get so bored from the side quests and collectathon missions. I can t get into the story when I get bombarded with a dozen useless missions that have to be played in order to level up your character. Maybe I am just getting to old for video games anymore. So many of them are just slog fests of over 200 hours of brainless collecting.

I bought it originally for Xbox One. Then I bought it from GOG after selling my Xbox and building a decent gaming PC (2070 Super, Ryzen 3700x, CL14 3600MHz RAM 2x8GB, B450-F Strix board. After that I bought it for Switch. Then I bought a copy for my wife when I built her gaming rig (same specs as mine but 5700 XT, instead. I've not regretted a single purchase.

It must now be a few years since I brought this on ps4. I brought it brand new and it's still in the plastic wrapper. Always wanted to play but never got round to it but this makes me super excited to finally start. Do I need to have played the first two games or can I start this game straight away. Thanks for the awesome work that you do.

Do you guys believe if I say that I am not even half way the game?
From the day it released, i'm picky about choosing a time to really enjoy the game and end up playing MOBA more on mobile even tho I really like Witcher 3.
Long content feel worth buying a game, but minutes of play on mobile platform is undeniable. I'm weird, no?

I m just glad that after 7 years this game is still relevant. Never played the games prior to 3. It was a huge learning curve, but I m glad I mastered it. The games inspired me to read a couple of the books as well. The Netflix series is meh but the power of The Wild Hunt has sparked a lot of people into becoming fans of the series.

Played like 5 hours of this on PS4 when the rumours started circulating about a next gen update. Looks like I made the right call in halting my progress and waiting it out. Genuinely can t wait for my first play through of The Witcher 3 to be on PS5. I ve heard so many good things! Open World games are the absolute dogs bollocks

Please help!
Just installed the new update but all my saved files from the ps4 version does not sync on the ps5 version. I have already uploaded all my previous saves to cloud storage, but whenever I access the new update I can only start from the beginning.
Can anyone please tell me how to access my old saves?

I'm so used to watching the before you buy videos that I'm even watching them for games I already bought and played. I've played the witcher 3 four times, and here I am, watching a before you buy for it while downloading it on my PS5.
Ps: I'm a bit surprised that I have to download the expansions separately.

I'm excited! The only thing I dont like about replaying the Witcher is a lot of the main story is just not that interesting anymore, especially around the final battle because it's a ton of Ciri and cutscenes. I wish NG+ had a feature that'd cut the story down or change it so it's shorter.

Listen guys, I used to be a huge fan of this witcher 3 played it like 3 times already including all dlc but its been 7 freaking years and we still dont have new witcher game and all we have is this existing one that keeps recycling all over again now I can definitely say its OVER RATED.

I feel cheated Jake no Bah-Loop noise at the beginning of the video so this MUST be a bootlegged Gameranx video. All kidding aside, did they fix the crashes in the Witcher 3 upgrade? Only complaint I remember when I played this phenomenal game. It crashed quite often on the PS4 Pro.

I played this game 2 years ago, oh boy, if only I knew that was going to be the wildest, most fun and exciting 100+ hours adventure of my life, I would still have played, and now, as of 2022, it's unrivaled by anything else I've played, and it's the first game I'm excited to replay

Its a shame some one like the, has to do these kinds of videos. There were no before you buy's when there was a time when games weren't' coming out only 1/2 complete, riddled with bugs and complete garbage for full prices. with broken promises of fixing by patching laters.
