HOGWARTS LEGACY 100+ SIDEQUESTS REVEALED, TOMB RAIDER RETURNS IN 2023? & MORE moonsong: I really wondered why Atlus did release P3P as it is since it feels like a low budget port and not doing the game justice (but maybe I'm a bit severe in my judgement here.
Fans wanted a P3FESxP3P fusion remastered game and that would have cost Atlus a bunch of money.
A Remake would have to be an almost complete new game (with maybe the models from the dancing game that they could eventually re-use.
Just imagine Atlus working on P6 also doing a P3 remake. Nah, as much as I would love that, I don't see that happening.
Prove me wrong Atlus!

Love your content. I'm pretty sure most gamers don't know how to make a game but I imagine a pretty good number have an idea how complicated it can be. With technology advances and hardware generations, makes it even more complicated. Soooooo many games have been delayed since the Cyberpunk debacle, and I am all for it. Development times for games nowadays is far longer than it was 10 years ago. Star Citizen has been in development for 10+ years. It is playable (buggy but playable) and is actually quite fun. 7 Days to Die has been in an alpha state for 10 years as well. Also incredibly fun to play. Elder Scrolls 6 was announced in 2018 what was shown was something, so one can infer that development probably started somewhere between 2014-2016. When it finally releases (speculated to be 2026) it will have been in development for 10 years (give or take. The Day Before. we don't really know much about it. No idea how long it has been in development. I feel the pull of the hype train. They can delay as much as they want in my opinion. I want good finished products. Let Fntastic make the game they will be proud to release and take all the time they need. Gamers need to stop the entitlement they obviously feel they deserve.

Day Before has looked fake since day 1. Triple A looking quality coming out of nowhere a couple years ago from a studio with a track record of well let s just say you can go look at their history on steam. Also if it s a trademark dispute over the name of the game like they say it is why don t they release the gameplay under a different name in the meantime. Also that bizarre video they released showing off the software their developers use is owned by them lol, they re literally just advertising a software they own.

Hear me out people listen to this pitch and tell me if I would work or not?
Uncharted/tomb raider spinoff where some crazy artifact let's the two universes combine where a half of the game you're playing with Laura Croft in the other half of the game you are playing with Nathan Drake when you get the best of both mechanics of each game modify and by the end you're doing some crazy mission where you could either ender game with either one of the playable characters

Can we get superficial for a moment. Let's talk about tomb raider. I hope they don't change Laura Croft's character model like they did with the character model of the female love interest in Dead space. It's almost like what they did to the character models in devil May cry 5 when you compare it to the character models in devil May cry 4 if anybody can see what I'm getting at. Idealized vs. realistic has become a hidden battle in games now.

I personally have put tomb raider on hold and I have not gotten back to playing all the DLC that's not the last of the story I have to do I downloaded all the DLC and I have to play that and I definitely need to finish the game because the new one is supposed to be coming out this year that's awesome, And then the day after it looks really good I honestly think it is like a Tom Clancy's the division with zombies, definitely look forward to that.

If the government collapses or we end up in some crazy dystopian world war, I know that, at some point, I will think, huh, I really miss those Gameranx Friday shows. I wonder if the final friday show would be Jake saying something like, Well, the world is kinda crazy now and gaming news is basically irrelevant at this point so we are shutting down our Friday show. Just a random shower thought, I guess. Not that I'm watching this in the shower.

The Last of Us was a masterpiece because of the collaboration of ideas that brought it to life, but now that Neil Druckmann is leading ND creatively and so many of those big names at Naughty Dog have moved on, it's just gonna be TLOU Studio, and it's gonna be more one-note sadness in video game form. I really hope he leaves ND, the company as a whole is so talented and deserves better leadership in both practice and creativity

Be great to see a new Tomb Raider game! I loved the reboot game - it hit so many right notes in the story and game mechanics. Rise was very nearly as good but I thought the game mechanics were just slightly less polished. and I heard there were problems with the story in Shadow which I haven't played yet. So hopefully they've learnt from these slight missteps to make the fourth game absolutely stellar.

I think it's alright to let Drake rest in peace. There is no story left that needs to be told and continuing the series would probably feel like making a God of War Ascension. Nothing really new to add, just more of the same. I personally would love a Jak and Daxter remake and a part 4 l, but like you said, pretty unlikely since Druckmann seems to prefer a more serious approach to his games.

The Uncharted Series is a master piece so if they dont want to ruin the experience of the players with a new game then i am happy with it what Naughty Dog is doing. it takes alot of courage to shut down a gold mine but still they did it Kudos to Naughty Dog. And i am really waiting for Hogwarts Legacy, i want to experience the wizarding world but still i have to wait till 7th of Feb.

To be fair, Naughty Dog says they're done with Uncharted, but is Sony? They rejected Days Gone 2, so why not throw Bend onto development of a side story in the series? If I remember correctly, they developed the Vita game (Golden Abyss methinks. They have a lot of studios at their disposal, so I think we could see more Uncharted, or maybe even a VR spin off or something

As for Tomb Raider: At one point they said they were basically going to make interquels to tie the older and newer games together, but I don't know if that's still the plan. If they're now saying that they're going to continue the story of Lara, that probably refers to the last trilogy. But I would like to see a game in-between or something, cause that's a cool idea.

I thought The Day Before devs would be excited about people thinking it's not real because, if it was real, they would be like These guys are going to get such a great surprise! . But that will never happen. Because it either doesn't exist or is mobile game quality in gameplay/content. We haven't seen gameplay to-date, not even as much as a gameplay leak. weird.

Square Enix should make DLC for Guardians of the Galaxy, a new tomb raider interested to see what they'll do with it. The Xbox Dev Direct was spectacular the limited games was more than satisfactory as they we're all great reveals and had perfect balance of gameplay and dev talk, Highlights were Motorsport 8, Hi-Fi Rush and that meaty Redfall section.
