10 ridiculous game breaking glitches in recent games

It would help me tremendously if you would note whether or not each of these game breaking glitches actually happened to you, gameranx.
I'm not saying that these game breaking glitches did not happen, or that gameranx is making them up, or that these game breaking glitches aren't really game breaking, or that these only happen on pirate versions of the game. I'm trying to get a feeling for:
1. How prevalent each game breaking disastrous bug is (how many systems it appears on);
2. How disruptive each game breaking disastrous bug is (how serious it is.
I'm tired of avoiding games because of videos like this, then for the rare game that I buy I notice there is no correlation between any widespread gamebreaking disastrous bugs in a poorly optimized mess and my experience with that game.
For example I was playing Hogwarts Legacy soon after release, and noticed stuttering when running around Hogsmead outside. Shrugged it off and went ahead with the various quests and battles and relationships. Then I fire up the internet and am told that the game is unplayable in a 20 minute video with some dude showing the FPS in the upper left and opining on how this is a travesty of a mockery of a disgusting, vile imposition of the suits on us pure, sweet users.

There is another Hogwarts Legacy game breaking bug that appear after the 1st patch on 02/18. It just disable the option to save the game as well as autosave for anyone who did not finish one of the main quests prior to the patch. It's been in 'open' state for almost a month leaving lots of players on ALL the platforms who wanted to enjoy the game and not rush the campaign without the option. Unless you are hardcore-1-life-challange enjoyer. Devs didn't communicate with community for almost a month fixing some sidequests important only for 100% completion run.
Oh, and by the way, reloading the game, re-downloading the game, console reset didn't work. Good job, Avalanche Software.

I'm thinking about for those old games from Nintendo, Playstation and other. I'm surprised most of games haven't much bugs or gaming breaking bugs compare to the modern video games today. I'm surprised those was doing great and even can't be updated because they are already on game cartridge or game disc!
But I remember from PC games! You come game updates or fixing bugs from: A game disc or expansion pack! I mean when internet was very limited.

It's not incredibly recent but in Cyberpunk 2077 there was a bug during the Maelstrom warehouse mission where at the end when you're trying to escape Jackie phases through the door and then you can't interact with the door at all. I note this because I spent a solid 30 hours or so doing everything in the opening area of the game to have this completely lock my game and force me to restart.

You can make a whole video of sims glitches. The neighborhood action plans like foodies unite made sims come over and attempt to bake a cake. If you had several sims over, your house would be littered with unfinished cakes. rough housing encouraged and rock your body are also annoying cause they make sims fight and do push ups ALL THE TIME. People disabled the feature altogether over these.

There s a glitch on the switch version of 8 doors Arums afterlife adventure that kills your whole game if you die to one of the midway bosses headed to the last area of the game I ve played through twice and both times it happened at that part. It s been awhile now so I can t pinpoint the part for anyone who s playing now.

Hogwarts Legacy completely broke on me, I went behind a waterfall and was faced with just a pale blue screen and a silhouette of the character. Couldn't pause it to load an old save, literally couldn't do anything but delete the game and reinstall it. Thankfully it only happened the once and the game was otherwise very good.

Lol if only I could actually play the division 2 cuz it was actually pretty fun with the 3-4 months I spent with it but haven t been able to play since January cuz I keep getting kicked from servers cuz of Delta 03 error good ole Ubisoft with their amazing servers at least I can move forward with clearing my backlog now

in the scarlet and violet bug, when it says that it happens when you connect to other games, what exactly does that mean? i haven't touched the game since the update (but i do want to play it, so that i can finally get out of area zero, just to prevent the bug from happening.
anything to keep my file.

Can everyone reading comments, read this one. Take the Sims advice. Stop being overly angry. Stop burning relationships. Sometimes we have to relax, and breath, and TALK. You can decipher ALOT of actions through expression, and reading expressions. Make your life easier please. Especially while driving.

This isn't a glitch but if you play Final Fantasy Tactics for the very first time back in 1997 on the PS1, the 1v1 battle against Wiegraf was really game destroying like i restarted the entire game and grinded until i can one shot him lol. I still didn't had any idea about Math Skill until 2001.

Dead Space? I had three saves after reloading and reinstalling, where I opened a save to a blank screen. Let alone all the invisible enemies, items dropping through the floor etc. ended up returning the game as could not progress at all

Ubisoft with their crashing on pc is a serious problem at this point. division 2. crashes. Valhalla. crashes. unity. does not launch. watch dogs legion. deletes your save file

NEVER TRUST the Autosave function.
At least for manual saves, the fault is ALL YOURS if you forget to save. unless you're playing games from Bethesda where your saves can randomly get corrupted no matter what you do.
