10 Unique Upcoming Games Announced Recently Tsui: Any game that has the potential to become unavailable FORERVER can just fk off. People create these amazing experiences only to throw them away along with you wanting to play them. Remember Destiny? The original Destiny 2? Well you won t be playing classic Bungee games EVER. They are gone. Forever. I will not pay a single cent and/or spend a single minute in an experience that has a deliberate expiration date. Fk this business model.

1: 39 yeah, the animations are all probably just cutscenes or animated just for trailers and nowhere near to how it's like in the actual game
6: 36 now this is my kind of game. and ofc it's from ubisoft, they make games that's very interesting. if only they could stop effing around and just focus on making good games and stop with the bad press. no nft, no microtransaction, no extra game launcher connection requirements please. just make awesome games and be done with that
8: 45 this one looks intense. it sure got my attention
btw if anyone is interested, there has been a new bloodlines 2 trailer. I guess they're working on it again and hopefully this time there are no more issues and all workers are treated better than last time

Some of the non-mainstream games I think have a lot of potential:
Stellar Blade (korean Nier Automata in Space)
Where Winds Meet (Chinese Sekiro/Ghost of Tsushuma)
Project: The Perceiver (Chinese Sekiro/Ghost of Tsushuma, but more Xianxia elements)
Manor Lords (strategy game that is somewhat like the settlers made by just 1 person, yet the most promising one of its kind)
Silent Hill F (made by one of the best Horror/Mystery Authors in the world. I'm even more excited for this than for Silent Hill 2)
PRAGMATA (what ever that is but its Capcom and they had a long time to develop)
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (seems to be from the Monster Hunter team and looks like Jigokuraku)

Precinct looks like nothing I've ever seen before.
So I see One unique game and 9 lazy, easy, safe rinse and repeat, generic games with a couple of shooters and fps'. A bunch of third person Souls likes and an Assassins creed: Japan.
Im a child of the 80s, so I am excited for Robocop, but fear is going to be a bit basic.
The starwars one might be good.
Blight looks amazing but i feel it might never make it to release or will be like Hood at best.

You summed up my thoughts about phantom blade zero perfectly.
The combat looks out of this world, but it's hard to imagine controlling this without having many things automated. Like how are you gonna make such complicated moves and react to those fast flurrishes of attacks at the speed that was shown?
Maybe i'm overthinking it and they can make it fun to look at and to play.
For now i'll stay sceptical but intrigued.

The thing that has me reluctant about star wars outlaws is it's another open world Ubisoft game. If it was more linear, or something along the lines of the Norse god of war games, I think would be an improvement. Hopefully it's not 60 hours of nothing though, and it still is kinda badass that we're finally getting an open world star wars game at the same time. I still can't believe that hasn't been done before

6: 50 If it is supposed to be a kind of open world bandit type of game, then it would be cool if they just gave the lightsaber as an option. For example, if you go to certain temples and do some secret mission and come across a piece of a lightsaber and you gotta piece it all together or bargain for Intel and part locations that would be amazing. Make the players work for it if they really want it.

The only thing that would give me hope with Star Wars Outlaws is if we could choose between two main characters (like AC Valhalla) or make our own character. That has been all I've been asking for along with a Star Wars bounty hunter game. I mean the main character doesn't seem THAT bad, but I'd love to insert myself or a reflection of myself in that role in that world. That's all I want

Rise of the Ronin is like the Assassin's creed game I want. If I was an AC dev I'd have 3 skill trees to build out. The first obviously assassin, the second being ninja, and the third being the samurai. Each of these skill trees could have different combat styles and influence how you complete missions/objectives.

Got back from PAX West. Pretty sold on Pacific Drive trying their demo. Interesting survival take on 80s station wagon car will carry you through mystery phenomenon. The phenomenon storms are randomized. After 2nd demo testing, didn't get the same storm or starter items for my station wagon.

I want to put this out there for anyone who might be interested; the new Inspector Gadget game, coming out this month. All next gen systems and Steam.
I ve seen literally no one mention this and I kind of found it by accident. Seems understated. Go show love to my boy Gadget, people.

and outlaws is my type of game, with so many stories where you are the hero,
the chosen one who has unique power to move humanity forward (hnahaha)
i'm refreshed by playing just as a bounty hunter. but i'm sure they'll make you
feel special somehow.

Crimson Desert is the game that got me most intrigued recently.
Also Star Wars without being a force user is like setting a game in feudal Japan and not being a samurai or ninja or the old west and not being a gunslinger. Can you? Sure. Is it a good idea? Umm.

Lost souls aside been in development for so long that I forgot it existed. I know it was initially made by 1 man and I have always thought it would never be release. Look at it now, kinda remind me of FF16 instead of initially Dark Souls.

Citizen Sleeper 2. The first one was fantastic and i'm really intrigued to see what they can do with a more open space style. Im hoping it doesn't lose the claustrophobic edge, or rather if it can convert that into something bigger.

I am getting really tired of hearing open world when it comes to games. Very, very few games actually manage to have a good one. It usually feels like a lifeless theme park that looks pretty but has nothing of value.

Anyone else came here excited for unique games only to find out marathon is pvp (bungie is like that girl you loved in highschool who grew up super ugly got really rich and fat and then texts you u up from time to time)

STARWARS is screaming my name. I'm wasn't into the movies or anything even close to something so Sci-Fi but the previous game Star Wars JEDI was amazing, the graphics were insane and the storyline was so deep.
reply

destiny plays like trash what are you talking about, it handles horribly compared to all other FPS games, controls are floaty and the guns do not handle well, its just FPS diablo and thats it. basically trash.
