Man that's not the first time I've heard that criticism of Jet Force Gemini, but I can't agree at all. A lot of levels were super easy to clear the tribals first go through, and then if memory serves you already backtrack naturally with different characters so you pick up more that way.
After that you only have a few missing levels, and maybe only need a guide for 1 or 2 tricky out the way spots. The game was big, but the levels were quite linear so it didn't seem a huge chore.
Imo its a shame if thats what stops this game getting all the plaudits, because it's right up with my all time favs. It had so much going for it; excellent graphics for the time, the standard amazing Rare soundtrack and humour, satisfying game/gunplay, tight controls, decent platforming and level design, and a fun, challenging final boss. It was such a fun mash up of styles, not forgetting the co-op and shmup sections with floyd, multiplayer. there's not much else like it and it really stands up with the heavyweights from that era.

i'll never understand people's dislike of Riddler's trophies. i always loved them, in all 4 games, and i love the man himself, ESPECIALLY in Origins where he's smarter than in other 3 games and never gets caught by the end, which is why i prefer him in Origins. he's not overly cocky but is still himself in all his Riddler glory (by that i mean his personality which will always be a plus to me.
so to me getting the real ending isn't hard or tiresome or feeling like work at all in any Batman game. i'm the Bat in Gotham doing Bat things, who doesn't love that? Origins sequels please.

rename the video to 10 video games to skip and avoid at all costs.
these endings aren't merely BS, but their games alongside them are equally BS. avoid them all. watch the ending online if you must, playing the game itself is a waste of time. and also a loss of dignity. you are the player, you aren't the game, and the game is not supposed to play you! you are supposed to play the game, if the roles change, then drop it.

The wrath of the righteous ending info is wrong. You only have to make a dialouge choice in the prologue. The knife and arrow are grabbed in chapter 1. And you can go to the final dungeon in that week of any in game year, so if you miss it you just have to spam rest at worst. (Not amazing, but not a lockout)

100% Sekiro will always be an accomplishment im proud of. Its funny how much flak it got for being too hard when in reality once you get the mechanics down its probably one of the easiest FromSoft games. Though, I still consider its final boss the hardest one theyve ever had.

After 2 years of suggestion, falcon finally played the Drakengard series and is able to talk about those. A series with the weirdest story (even for JRPG standard) and one of the hardest boss of the history of gaming not even skill based. Some spices video upcoming!

Why do I feel like Flacon hasn't actually gotten the true ending of Sifu? Getting it is not harder than getting the normal ending. The bosses don't become stronger only slightly longer. The hard part is not mashing execute like you've been doing the whole game.

There's also games like, i think, ghosts and goblins, where it's already hard as balls. Once you get to and beat the final boss, they do a total rug pull and practically say Great job, asshole, now do it again, without game over if you want the REAL ending!

I am not a completionist. I don't do collectibles, discovery challenges, minor errands, etc. I stick to the main story so that I can go on to the next game, like reading books. But you bet I found all 200+ trophies just to punch Riddler in his smug face!

I'm really surprised I never see N3 99 knights get mentioned. I feel like it would have fit perfectly into this list and several others. I can remember the utter struggle to get A rank on every miss just to have a chance at beating the final boss

My favourite secret ending was for max payne 2. in that if you beat the game 3 times on 3 different difficulty levels you get a secret ending where mona actually lives! Its a masterpiece of a game
