Witcher 4: 10 things we don't want

CD Projeckt Red has officially teased the next Witcher game. Here's what we don't want, especially after Cyberpunk 2077 SanAntonioian17: 8: 00, I'll check out School Of The Lynx from The Witcher universe later. I wouldn't mind Ciri being the main character for The Witcher 4 (don't make her OP to the point of less challenging. It'll be on PS5/Xbox Series to avert Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco. Ditching weapon durability, side quests being memorable (Witcher 3 & Horizon series for example) & better camera would make The Witcher 4 an good game. An mediocre video, Gameranx.

People need to stop saying that changing the engine will make the game better. At the end of the day its just an engine, that is a tool, and what matters the most is how you use the tool and not the tool itself. Especially when you are dealing with game development, better communication is way more important than changing the engine.
This is like saying I will become a top notch chef because I spent 100k on a new kitchen you still need to learn and acquire top level skills to use that kitchen or your food will taste the same (maybe even worse)

Something I don't want is a shitty economy system.
Now before I get hate, let me elaborate.
The armor and weapons and books and stuff that you can buy from the in-game merchants is ultimately extremely worthless. You'll almost always have enough or nearly enough for the best weapon in that given area. Hell, I barely play Witcher 3 anymore and I still know that my gold count is high as hell. Give me an actual reason to spend gold, since Witcher 3 had a constant stream of gold coming to you with next to nothing worthwhile to spend it on.

10, 000 Hours. All i want is Storytelling more skill points in combat better combat but i'm fine with the original. I do want to see a character creation to an extent would be cool Geralt & Ciri training us maybe hhhmmm? I really want to see a snow biome man look i just like Snow not criticizing at all i'm a Hybrid Breed for this Franchise. I've played both Console & PC WHATEVER DO IT mix this game up but keep the ESK Style What do you all want this new world to have or included any Idea's you all have?

To be honest, I really don't want a Witcher game with Ciri UNLESS something can be done with her powers. The problem is, she is too OP, this could be fixed if she fights enemies as powerful as she is (which I find highly unlikely) or she loses her powers and the game is regaining them.
However, with the lynx I'm kinda hoping for a story about a few survivors of the school of the cat want a fresh start so they create a new school.

I just hope they give the main character actual enhanced senses in game, not just conversations, there s a bit in three where Geralt is talking about how he lost a bet by hitting a rat with a throwing knife at night, but no one else could see. on the same mission you spend alot of time in a dark cave in which you cannot at all see without a torch or potion that lasts 30 seconds and poisons you, lol tf.

Give us proper item menu and setting slider for console. When I play Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4/5, I was little upset. I hate working that cursor with jotstick. Takes forever to go anywhere. That item menu is God awful. can't see shit sitting 3ft away on my 4K TV. if I bought the console version why did i get a PC experience? nearly ruined my fun in both Cyberpunk and Witcher 3.

I get the Cyberpunk disappointment, but NMS was WAYYY worse at launch. The developers just straight up lied about so many things, and the gameplay they showed wasn't even close to the actual experience. NMS has come a long way, and the devs deserve props for sticking with it, but it's launch disappointment was probs one of the worst in decades.

I got so hyped when they said the quests in the Witcher 3 were a good warmup for the cyberpunk quests lol. still break my heart to think on it, I just felt to compelled in Witcher to follow every storyline, read the notes/lore all of it. cyberpunk was fine, but nothing compared to that

In the books, the School of the lynx is a school that is founded by Lambert and Kiera Metz after the school of the Wolf extinction. I m hoping to play as Lambert (or even an new Witcher part of that school) and have Geralt be more of a side character. He deserved to retire.
