The part when Falcon talks about the moments in souls games and especially Elden Ring when you just pass by enemies i dont find awkvard at all, in other games those enemies wouldnt be there after you killed them once. And tbh, these runs may sometimes get you. For example in Crumbling Azula the part with the birds and the Dragon throwing bolts in the background is always challenging to run through at least for me.

From someone that has not played but has watched a lot of videos about these soul games, what’s the hype Not hating I’m genuinely curious. Is it the medieval thing, the exploration the bosses or what I don’t get the lore of these type of games. Cuz they mad successful so obviously they are very liked I wanna get into but I don’t see why I should. Help me understand!

I don't need a before you buy it. I'm gonna buy it but I'm also gonna watch this video. The complexity of my human existence.
Edit: I stopped myself from watching this video at 00: 2. I'm gonna watch it AFTER downloading the DLC, studying for my exams, passing my exams and THEN sitting down to enjoy my purchase.

Kinda bummed out by how plain many of the boss arenas seem. Like Messmer been hyped up in all these trailers as on even footing as the resr of the Demigods, And he just chilling in an empty room Lol ughhh I can't stand that lol, I really hope there's a second phase or something that gives more of a visual flare to his fight.

As soon as he started talking about bosses i immediately lost all interest. Fromsoft has lost its edge when it comes to making good bosses for the souls games.
Bloodborne and sekiro were fantastic because they gave you the tools to deal with the new boss designs but they just pull the most absurd shit nowadays.

My biggest problem is not having a character ready. I don't really wanna do it on my NG character because of the difficulty, i also wanna do a different build if i start playing again, but respeccing feels undeserved and starting a new character feels like it will just take forever before i can enjoy the DLC.

Never bought a DLC for any game ever. Just not interested in returning to a game months after I already have the plat. I’ve been gaming since the Atari, so my abstination from dlc has been a long one.
. and now the time has come to break a 30 year gaming habit to cross the fog, to the lands of DLC.

I’m not an achievement hunter but if it has no achievements then it’s no buy for me because it will be a big waste of my time. I never played Souls 3 dlc because no achievements to earn even through I’m no achievement hunter. Don’t waste your money Y’all

Who is finishing this in 20-30 hours If it’s almost as much content as the base game, I’ll easily spend 80 hours trying to do everything. And that’s just on the first play through!
