I love how it-s also reflected in his character design and tone of voice, he starts off cold and professional with his orders, but as things go on he becomes savage and angry, shouting and swearing and getting pissed off more and more. His uniform also becomes dirtier and more ripped up, and he-s covered in dirt, grim and scars. Brilliant.

The theme of the game is moral agency, and how refusing to exercise it, or claiming you don't have it, or blaming others for your immoral behavior, always turns one into a monster. Although it may often be difficult, especially for someone who's not used to making such a choice, one can always choose to do the right thing-or at least choose not to do wrong. -
The other theme is war-induced insanity, since Walker was insane the entire time. But Walker's refusal to accept responsibility for his actions also fueled his elaborate psychosis, as one bad act after the next drove him to retreat further and further from reality and take even less responsibility for what he's done.

1: 33: 06 Holy crap, in a game full of subtle foreshadowing I'm not certain this was intentional or not but at the end of the cutscene the camera lingers on these three mannequins in the background, two of which are standing like soldiers at attention and the last is sitting in a chair, like Konrad and his men in the hallucination at the end of the game. They're also positioned like they were watching Lugo's outburst against Walker and Adams, which was probably the last point it might have been possible for him to convince them to turn back before the White Phosphorous scene. Plus, I don't think there's a sitting mannequin anywhere else in the game.

Each person has own hell. There is no general hell for all people, no, hell based on ur faults, sins and the worst desires. I reckon, that religion tries to explain something deeper, but this is not successfull, should be? War - is worse thing ive ever seen before and maybe, soldiers see their own hell covered by blood and citizens. Fod ordinary people its just a well with small light above u

One noticable thing about this game is the sniper guy in the main menu slowly he changes his position, when they were together at the beginning of the game he was sitting then when they got wanted and untill they met Riggs he sat and then after the truck accident mission he laid down and when finally Lugo dies in the game that sniper died too.

There-s kinda an Easter egg in the beginning of the video, you can see the American flag is upside down, and the American flag is not to be flown upside down except as a signal of dire distress in instance of extreme danger to life or property.

I played through the game with little to no prior knowledge other than -it isn't what it seems. - After the mortaring, the hanging corpses, and Konrad, I can never play this game again. I pull the trigger, and it's not a game any more.

An intelligent game with some harrowing moments which keeps you guessing til the end! Introduced me to combat related PTSD and was interesting to see factions of the US military portrayed as the bad guys. 10/10 all round!
