Such an innovative and awesome idea. I too think that practical effects should always be attempted, or at least considered first. If it was actually there, then it is all the more rea on filml. VFX are awesome, but there's something so real about practical special effects. Can't wait to see the video. Nice job. I was much more interested in this Awesome director than any other. This is the first director with a real idea, and not just the vfx/camera talent. It's gotta be the whole package.

5: 32 to the surfaces of these buildings in ways you really couldn't re-create in effects actually even in 2012 you could 3d model the backdrop and use a layer warp controlled via a z-depth image. This would cause a parallax effect on the projection that would mimic what is shown in here.

Oh man. I just had a great idea. They could have a show that would cover how to do all this stuff really cheaply and with household stuff. and. oh. wait. (sigh)

Hey i want to ask you something from dave. . can i make a slow motion video with 30fps recording. i cause which camera i have it can only shot at max 30fps: /

i know your doing cool stuff on the indie machines and i dont think i said anything mean about david seger: ) but i still miss your bfx: D

You can use some plugins to add frames but its a very specific look. and 30fps is like regular viewing rate, so it would not be very effective.

How did you stop bumps on the road from affecting the camera (while tracking in the pickup)? did you stabilize the footage?

Thumbs up if you realize that we're doing stuff over at The Indie Machines and you should be nice to cool people like Dave Seger!

0: 47 David Seger looks like the guy with the funny accent from the Big Bang Theory! (Not Raj, I forget the guy's name though)

Wow! I JUST realized that the Indy Mogul intro changes based on the video. Like, We Make Movies. or We Share Movies. :O

Very clever approach, nicely done. Not everything can be done with after effects, and this goes to prove it.
