I have a copy of -Math Blaster: Ages 6-9- (nice, published by Davidson & Associates in 1997, and was originally released as -Mega Math Blaster-. The game itself is a remake of the original -Math Blaster! -, -Math Blaster! Plus-, and -Math Blaster Episode 1: In Search For Spot-, but it's plot/story takes place after Episode 2.
One of the elementary schools I previously attended had the version published by Knowledge Adventure.
I also, have a copy of Reading Blaster (Mystery) for Fourth Grade, published by Knowledge Adventure

GIRL DIED IN 1993, A MAN BURIED HER IN HER OWN home GIRLwhen she was still alive. The murderer chanted, -Toma sota balcu- as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the. night she will stand at the side of your bed starring straight into your eyes. She will suffocate you for revenge of when she was suffocated. This story is sadly true. If you post this 5 differnt times she will not bother you

Have you ever played a game called -Gunman Chronicles-? It's a first person shooter, which uses Half-life's engine, which had some quite cool and interesting weapons, enemies and environment to go and blast dinosaurs, space cowboys, robots and other kind of enemies along your way. It's one of my favorite games that I've ever played (probably for a reason that I love Half-Life and it's wide selection of mods. Do you have a copy of Gunman Chronicles on your shelves?

I totally had the original one on Apple //e! Didn't know it was coded in BASIC. I did fiddle around with discovering that lots of commercial software had portions written in BASIC, and hacking it to me needs- but I was a few years after Math Blaster when I was doing that. I was more fooling around with more advanced games and the Apple //e demo disc.

Also do you have a review of the reading game I always forget, you read and answer questions and then you get film for the questions to take pictures of robots to figure out who is the criminal in a mystery setting. The more mysteries you solve the higher rank you get do you know whats that called and do you have a review?

I think the only one I ever played was In Search of Spot, but I really liked it as a kid. rewatching vids of it, though, just makes me appreciate how far edutainment has come (and how irritated I was to see our little green spaceman replaced by a spiky-blue-haired anime reject.

There's a game from my middle-school days that only I seem to remember.
It was a math puzzle game for the Mac called 3 By 3. It had some funky story about a 3 that fell out a computer program and had to find his way back to his code. Look it up, it's pretty awesome.

I played this to death (along with all the other Blaster games) as a child.
The cover at 1: 13 with the orange goo in the background is the version I played, I remember the purple hair vividly.
Such well made educational games, are they still in production?

The math blaster game I had came after this. I'm pretty sure it was just called 'Math Blaster' though. I remember that some of the levels I couldn't figure out what to do. I guess my primitive brain couldn't comprehend the complexity of early 90s math related gaming.

The 9-12 and 6-9 versions of Math Blaster and Reading Blaster were some of the edutainment games I grew up playing both at home and at school. In fact I remember going to Best Buy to see if there were any of those games I didn't have. Good times.
