None of the 60-70's tubes radio are going to work as they were using some old kind of wax capacitors and. they are all dried out and most of the time they just need to be replaced with new ones. I did revived many radios with little difficulty including a 1961 Marconi furniture pickup thing in which only the capacitors were bad. All the tubes were fine and now it works like a charm for the cost of a few boxes and few hours of interest into it. If you like a particular model that is clean, neat but doesn't work, just buy it. Tubes electronics are way simpler than everybody could believe it is, it is just something that scares people like carburetors because we are nowadays so used to throw away the defective part and replace it but before before, it was doing the job a hundred percent with little maintenance in mind,

That Packard Bell keyboard(around 10: 54) we had one with the 2nd computer we had home (with sitckers on many key for the -French Canadian- Layout, but the one I had the most childhood memories with! It was a Pentium2 desktop and had that monitor with the speakers attached you found but did not buy on another LGR Thrift! Our first one was a 486 but was mainly a work computer for my father, being an accountant and filling taxes for people and such things

Man, I know this is an old video but I just have to comment on Dr. Muto.
Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I remember that game for its really interesting level design, platforming mechanics and interesting humor in the writing from the blunt AI helper to the odd characters & bosses in the game.
It's definitely worth a try.

Always loved that song! Nice find Clint! I think I actually still have some translucent vinyls around here as well from my old DJing days. :)

Holy crap. I never find the things that you find in spite of looking. You should consider picking up interesting things you see and giving them away to fans or auctioning them off or something so that some of us who don't have much stuff that shows up at our local thrift stores.

i got a very similar soundesign cassette recriever u found that i use for the cassette and it has my record turntable also hooked up to it. the only reason it sounds pretty good is because of it's equalizer and the fact that i have it hooked up to a kenwood amp lol

I still have a Block Rocker, it's actually quite neat and useful. It has good sound and battery life. It also has RCA and 1/4- inputs so, you're not limited to iPod dock. For a while I used it as my computer speaker using an RCA to mini plug adapter.

It's interesting that thrift stores in the U. S. sell all this electronic junk that's broken and missing parts. Here in the UK all electronics have to be complete and are tested to see if they are fully working before they're sold even in charity shops.

13: 33 Yeah looks German to me. All of the other languages right beneath it: also German. Especially the English text looks very German. The French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Swedish versions are - you guessed it - also in German.

Nice pick on the Sony ES tape deck. I see these every so often, but they ALWAYS need belts (or they're broken in some other fashion. You'll enjoy it (and based on the date of this video relative to my comment) and may even still have it.
