What I DIDN'T enjoy was that at least one of the hotels (if not all of them, can't remember) had the sad clown painting. I avoided that like plague after getting traumatized by the clown. But then one of the NPCs looked at the painting and the clown arrived. I have never left a lot quicker. After that I always removed the painting from the hotel when going on a vacation.

Hello! I'm Baghera. Thanks for posting videos of my favorite Sims Expansions. I love Sims Vacation. I love Sims Superstar. I love Sims Hot Date. I love Sims Living Large. I love Sims House Party. Also can't wait until my friend from the United States gets her new game for her PC. She has a laptop. It is an HP laptop. It is Windows 8-1. And the color is black. Also she and I both have blue HP mini laptops. Both our mini laptops are Windows 8-1. Anyway, great video. Can't wait to see more from you. And I'm so glad that you're having a blast playing Sims 1. Tannah was really young when she played Sims 1.

I've always found it weird that you guys call it Vacation instead of Holiday, not just for this Sims' expansion, but I mean in general too haha! It's like when you're at school and you get time off, say a couple of weeks, then it would be a school holiday, and not a school vacation, because a vacation sounds like you're going away somewhere, but then again I guess a holiday does too! But yeah, I think this was one of my favourite expansion packs back then, and I even tried making my own hotel for Sims to stay at, but I think I had forgot some important things at first!

I remember when I first installed this (after bringing it home from CompUSA, the loading screens took forever, though later there were some ways to improve this (such as combining everything into FAR files, setting stuff to read-only, and simply reformatting and reinstalling Windows. I spent a good amount of time using this expansion, though the mascots were a little creepy (following the kids everywhere - even into the bathroom, and there was a bug where the DJ would walk around nude after using the hot tub.

I like your Let's Play's LGR. Your games are great and your commentary is funny. Chuggaconroy's commentary is like listening to nails on a chalkboard, but has good games. NintendoCapriSun said some things about my favorite video game character that I didn't like and I refuse to watch his videos ever again. I've never seen any of JonTron's Let Play videos though.

It has to do with their body types in TS1. When you first go into CAS, you have the option of a lot of different outfits and each comes with a designated body type. Everytime I watch one of your LP's of Sims 1, it makes me nostalgic & I wanna revisit the Sims 1 world again. Hmmmm. maybe I will. someday. But for now, Sims 3 has me pretty satisfied, except for one major thing. restaurants. They put them in Sims 1 & 2, but not 3. why? Btw, I laughed everytime the -zombie- cab driver arrived. funny; -)

I'm guessing the way that holiday and vacation used to work was before America was colonised, a day off work was a holiday, which used to be holy-day. and people went on vacation away from their homes, on a holiday. then America was colonised and only vacation stuck over there, and only holiday stuck in Britain.

oh my gosh I forgot you got fined when your kids were brats! I remember when I (quickly) got bored with the vacation I'd make them stay til their funds were drained so they didn't have to pay the hotel bill and make their kids be total asshats. It was the only fun part of the expansion pack

I remember Archie Archer being called Robin Hood, but I don't know if its just me or whether that was the UK name for that guy. My first expansion pack for any sims game EVER and I loved it. Only just found it. need to find the base game now and I can play it
