those speakers are terrible, for the price anyway, I'm sorry i spent 100 for my Logitech's they dont look like that they are simple black and grey with a black ported sub and the volume doesnt crackle i have all the same functions including multiple inputs, and they sound very reasonable, good for computer speakers like you said though the downside is that the input plug for the computer is through the right speaker which then has a serial type connector which goes to the sub and the sub volume is on the back of that and the left speaker connects to the sub, its kinda irritating took a little bit of adjustment to get the cables to reach past 2 21- monitors and all that but since then they have been solid and work very well, and really pretty basic units in terms of function. Power is controlled through volume and both knobs are smooth in transition and when there is no sound the speakers are dead silent, my cpu fan makes more noise on quiet mode.

What is it with this aesthetic? When I was building my current desktop, I had trouble finding a case that would be big enough for my video card, and didn't look like Alien's xenomorphs infused with Christopher Nolan Batmobile DNA, as drawn by a fifteen year old, masturbating furiously over his design. Thankfully, NZXT do a nice plain white case, which I love. It couldn't be more different from the Xenomorph Tumbler look everyone else is doing.

The sound from the mic sounds thin, and those speakers sounds noisy as well, they probably used reclycled off the shelve components to make these soeakerset & mic, then slap a cool design over it, put your brandname on it and sell it expensive, boohoo.
And regardless of environment noise cancelation, that dsp chip may use AI to distinguinge your voice from other sounds to amplifie it, while deincrease the volume of other sounds.

Damn -gamer- products. I own many product with this style, and it's so silly. I'm ashamed everytime I power up my computer because of my MSI motherboard which have way too much dragon iconology. Even my laptop, on which I'm typing this, is an Asus ROG gaming laptop with its badge and usual silly red/black design. Really feels like the people designing those things thinks gamers are only the 14yo hyped up on Mountain Dew and Doritos.

2 questions while you're on the subject. 1 as far as recording, have you played so much duke that you naturally sound like him? or do you synthesze? 2 understandable to be a gamer audiophile, but are you also into home cinema sound or high quality mobile audio? this would make for a cool short video of your personal intrests if you would be willing. thanks again for all the quality entertainment.

I got an LG 500w system from my dad, the model is CM4530. Two 150w speakers and a 200w sub, both at 10% total harmonic distortion, but that's barely noticeable. Doom 1 and 2 sound great through these things. I looked up the model because my friend and I wanted to get another for our old apartment, and it runs for $200. Great system for the price.

yeah speakers are the worst i had, i just broke a button to turn on speakers in front side i think, quality like listening radio, only bass getting it better, anyways. bought for design, and sure everything in manual written in Chinese. so do not buy for design, buy, micro-lab, instead, those are not disappointing in sound quality

Hey Clint, I'm on my way to build a good gaming PC on the cheap, but I'm a bit out of touch when it comes to part specs and such. Is there a guide of what to look for or could you send me one? I work on the road alit for work and my old Lenovo Y70f is tired and not performing as well as it did in 2014.

I bet those cheap cables didn't help with the audio quality. Definitely give these a miss. For around the same price, you can get some of the best bang for buck speakers on the market (e. g. M-Audio AV 40 is $140, and I believe LGR's Snowball microphone is the same price as the Aegis.

I like your reviews. AVerMedia is not a audio/sound company for one, they specialize in video capturing witch they been doing for a long time. If you want great sound from a audio/sound company then look at Creative Labs witch been around for many years.
