Racing through Chicago was only the start. San Francisco and London were in need of some open world madness, and this second game in the series by Microsoft and Angel Studios delivers!

i want to become game developer. i love racing games. but my parents don't support me-. they say you can't earn to live by making games. but still i am trying hard to give my best. i have released my latest game on steam called velocity legends. the new trailer is uploaded. i created that game with my savings and now i feel my parents were right. i am not even earning what i invested in the game. but i won't give up.

I still love this game! My favorite thing to do was to drive around and round up all the cop cars and force them to get crashed out of action. I can-t remember how, but I used to drive a modded car that could go 999mph or something. I could jump so high I would go into orbit, or crash into cop cars throwing them into the sky spinning until they hit the edge of the world.

In MM2 San Francisco map there is one place where can you go to roof and from that point there is kind a place where can you drive on edge and go up higher on skyscraper and jump down roof to roof. You can only do that with Ford Mustang car, back then when I was a kid, and find that option, I was like finding completley new world lol

Little over a month after Midtown Madness 2's release, Metropolis Street Racer was released on Dreamcast and its rendition of San Francisco and London was dramatically better, despite running on a console which was already 2 years old at that time. It was a much better game too.

Only things I remember from this game are 1) Beetle, Double decker and Eldorado, 2) some kind of damage mode where you had to chase down the opponent and damage his car and 3) pushing cop cars into the water.
This is a video I did not know I needed to watch, thanks: )

I spent so many hours in MTM 1. I bought 2 and enjoyed it but could never get over the fact that every time I went up a hill the car didn-t look like it was climbing (angle up.
I super regret getting rid of all my original game box arts I had back as a kid too.

one of the most fun things was building up speed and zooming off a ledge or top of an inclined road in SanFran, you could catch a ton of air and looked like you were hundreds of feet high, made my stomach feel weightless in real life as a 12 year old, loved this game

I loved this game. Friend of mine had this back then. Most of the time we didn't race but tried to stick to traffic rules, played as a bus and planned a route and -picked up nonexisting guests-. First game I played with a steering wheel. Awesome game. Awesome past.

Good times! I played so much my wrist was in pain. The cabbie quest where you had to jump barges on the Thames, the mad movie director yelling CUT! There were some hard races in MM2. Still have my copy installed.
-It's a lovely morning here in SF -- until NOW!

I used to play this online. Usually it would be like a king of the hill where we all tried to stay on and push others off that tall building near the coast in SF. With mods it became even more crazy, roads everywhere in the sky. It was so amazing
