The mod have 1 major problem and that is, when you have a mod that doesn't fit the version, have got something wrong with them or whatnot, you get an error message and you just can't figure out which mod it is, till you tried unlocking and locking them piece by piece again. Which is a real pain in the ass. Also, some mods should be added to the base game, because death transport and always needing to bulldoze buildings that have broken down is such a pain in the ass, certainly in huge cities, it's to much to deal with now. And those mods that are for that constantly are out of date so not working and giving error messages. Will be really happy if they just change something with that. Like give you for a certain amount for money ingame, not real, taxes will help you then, to, fix this issue. Like that there are special businesses who fix this. Instead of onl when a disaster happens, always. Would be so neat.

The fact that they actually get a patch out when a new pack comes out that is more usefull then the pack itself, makes Cities Skylines so much better then any other games. Most of the time patches mean nothing at all, let stand they actualy ADD new things. But now, we just get them for free, a small/easy update. And they do listen to us each time we demand something. And were picky, yet till today, they didn't dissapointed us. Like this is WHY cities skylines is the best game there is. It's just, better then all of EA games combined.

So. an expansion for something that doesn't matter at all in the game?
In case you didn't know, without a mod, the garbage collection vehicles and fire engines are the only things that do anything on the road. As long as a road is connected between the workplace and a home, regardless of the distance or time travelled, both needs will be 100% fullfilled. It doesn't matter if it takes 5 years for the car to reach the workplace without any public transportation.

The monorails are actually the only thing I use, yes I did pay all that money just for that, I am sick aren't I xD I love the fact they can be taken over the roads, so that they don't take space at all. Yes the powerline thing is a issue after this, but can be fixed by mods or just basic up/down buttons.
The rest of the pack I still need to find out how it all works. But this video certainly helps a lot: D

The only country in the world I've ever seen use a blimp system was Germany. Specifically during the Nazi reign from 1938 - 1942. However they were called Zeppelins. Now they stopped using these after a few of them blew up and never again have they been used. They used to carry the Swastika on their tail end. So I'm glad city skylines is trying to be more like Nazi Germany! :)

In retrospect, giving most of the upgrades for free with each expansion pack-related patch must make Paradox and CO feel like they shot themselves in the foot, especially if you add all the mod support and huge amounts of mods that exist.
Then again, this is good for the customer and probably got them way more sales than some shitty closed off system would give.

I like things like monorails too, elevated tracks, subways, trams, on ramps, off ramps, elevated roads and motorways. If where I live looked like Fritz Lang's Metropolis I'd be well happy. well, without all the robots going mad and underground slave workers but still. I love urban environments, and I like them with lots of inter winding things.

Cities skyline DLC are pretty boring, I was expecting more. oh well anyway, the base game is pretty solid anyway. But yeah the Free content is usually more important than the paid one. Wich, in a way, is pretty great. But I was hoping to have some massive expansion into realistic city looking Id be happy to pay 30$ for such an expansion.

I.
In the real world, the problem with blimps is: storms.
The only way to safely fly a blimp in a storm is: DON'T.
You keep those things in a hanger. Put them back in service when the weather clears. They are a fair weather only vehicle. Humanity slowly learned this lesson the. Hard Way.

The
the problem with their DLC's is that if you do not buy them, your city goes fubar. You see, wether you buy it or not, the system thinks you did and makes traffic that is depends on the DLC, meaning if you don't buy it your roads get flooded with traffic and you have no way of fixing it.
