29: 07 You're not going to get legacy audio support if you're using WDM drivers. Windows ME installs WDM by default. If you can get the VXD version of the audio drivers installed, you could probably get legacy audio support if the chip supports it. Also check the BIOS for something along the lines of SB options. I've had a couple of motherboards that had such options to get legacy Sound Blaster support.

Holy Winnie the Pooh! A bear computer! Now that is something new. It's amazing it has held up so well, especially judging by the comments mentioning that the Deer power sources failed so frequently.
It's nice that you rescued it and restored and fixed it. It'll definitely be a conversation piece.

As a technician with loads of experience with PC Chips motherboards, I wish to disseminate some information: The AMR (Audio Modem Riser) connected directly to the motherboard without a cable.

It's boards like this that really messed with my memory. I have a Socket 7 board that is clearly in an ATX form-factor. And here, a Socket 370 board that's clearly in an AT form-factor.
This was such a neat story and restoration. I love it!

This is awkward to even make a teddy bear stuffed with a desktop computer! I would get if they made a teddy bear microcomputer like the Teddy Ruxpin, which would better looking, I ve seen electronic stuffed animals in toy sections at certain stores!

Wow, this is crazy. I live in Los Angeles, CA and when I first saw this computer on Craigslist, it looked so creepy, I just completely ignored it. It remained for sale for a while but man, I never expected to see this computer on LGR. Wow.

Honestly if I had seen that bending upon purchase it would have given me reason to paws.
Hopefully the restoration won't be too unbearable. Did ursine any waivers for liability in case it lights up like a furnace when you turn it on?

Holy, was expecting 98SE to be put on it, but I really wanted ME to be installed just because that would totally be the kind of OS that would be stuck on a weaker hand me down teddy bear PC from 2001, thank God you delivered: )

Might not be a bad idea to leave the blanks open for airflow. That fuzziness cant help much with dissipating heat!
That said, you don't seem to be having issues there. Might be worth considering if you add a Voodoo or something!

If you want to free up some more PCI slots from the case you could always move the LPT printer port, joystick port, com port and the fort one that i don't remember the name of to the blank slots above the keyboard plug.

Couldn t bear blinking during this one in case I missed something. That would have been unbearable. Just had to bear with it and bear down for a longer than usual LGR vid, cause the alternative was just unbearable

The Teddy Bear PC & Industrial IBM in some kind of competition. Have them run Duke Nukem 3D in a dukematch and see which one performs better. Then have a new challenging computer be the next competitor.
