The Untold Truth Of Ninja Assassin Benjamin: I highly doubt the veracity of most of this. 1) as many people have stated, that weapon existed 2) they literally show the wire work while they talk about him doing his own stunts and say little wire work was involved. Anyone with any grasp of movement and timing knows most of this was special effects and wires. It's admirable that he learned the movement to any degree, he might have even done some parkor and flips, but it sounds like the claims made about Natalie Portman in Black Swan: even a natural needs years of practice to look polished.

This movie was one of the best Ninja movies ever, shit one of the best martial arts movies period. i hope we see more of this dude is pretty good n has what it takes to be a great action star. if you haven't seen this movie or you didn't like it, then you just don't like martial arts or action movies. i guess there always the notebook for those people

Are you serious guys? Do you really want part 2 of this movie? Actually, I was so disappointed with this movie because Rain sucked at acting and his stunt scene were not impressive at all. Most chained weapon scenes were CG processed. I'd rather recommend NINJA starring Scott Adkins AKA Yuri Voyka. He knows punching, kicking and stunts.

Before you add the 528th post saying 'it's a kusarigama'.
1. No, it's not.
2. It's loosely based on the kyoketsu shoge.
3. The kyoketsu shoge is another modern invention, with no historical background.
4. Ninja didn't exist, they are a theatrical/fictional invention. So 'ninja' weapons. didn't exist either.

I remember watching this movie when I was in 7th grade. That was the time when dvd player ruled the world. I got my own dvd player and this was the first movie cd I purchased which came with 5 other movies. Those were the days. Oh man nostalgia is hitting me so hard rn while writing this comment.

I stumble on this movie at Netflix and I couldn't finish it. The storyline is boring. The opening action sequence is ok but as the movie proceeds it became tiresome to watch. No wonder it's a flop. Usually when you attach the name ninja in a movie, it must be good. But not this one sorry.

I was at the set back in the day at Potsdam Babelsberg film studio, my friends and I talked to and smoked a cigarette with Rain, he is a very nice guy and the skars on his back looked so real. Was also interesting to see how an action movie is made: )

The problem I had with watching this on cinema is that most of the fight scenes were done in the dark which makes it hard to appreciate.
I rewatched it on a dvd with a brighter screen and it looked a lot better.

I have watched this movie multiple times, because I love Ninja films. I saw this just last week on Netflix and although it's slow at times, when the fights comes back it makes up for any shortcomings.
