yes he is a bad partner but the fact that the love of his live keep dying and returning did not help him with the normal relationship. LOOK at avx through his perspective not only was hope the first mutant born since m day, but at the time he thought she was his daughter. jean gray kills a planet full of people no one bats an eye. Scott kills one and goes to jail and is considered a villain? professor x was not even the man he had been calming to be. you forget to bring up that medusa admits that the mist is an attack on mutants in issue one. so the inhuman are trying to commit genocide and cyclops is compared to hitter for stopping them. great writing there right.

I like Scott's character. He's not perfect, he's got a lot of emotional issues especially with his parents death, thinking his brother was dead for years. Having to walk around with his eyes closed fearing he'd wipe everything out. It was luck that Xavier found him and they figured out his power negate. Then Jean, losing her, and getting her back over and over. Losing people, being betrayed by Warren, the never ending battles. Not every character can the straight and narrow type and it takes tolls on Scott. The newer comics. That's just writers rewriting.

I bought my first ever Cyclops figure yesterday. It's from the Hasbro 3. 75 inch Giant-Sized X-Men Toys R' Us exclusive set. I was out of toys when the Toy Biz X-Men figures of him was out. I remember seeing the dark blue suit Cyclops on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. I've been a big fan of Cyclops since. He is in the top five of my favorite X-Men characters. I am still wondering why Mattel never made his figure for the Secret Wars toy line. I thought he was a cool character, not because he was the leader.

I thought he was cool as a kid, but grew to not like the character so much that I wished writers would put him out of his misery. He was so badly written that even his death was pathetic and anticlimactic.
Even weirder for me is sharing my opinion, then being attacked by Cyclops fans that almost seem like they're foaming at the mouth defending every bad thing the character has done.
I think it's just bad writing and worse editing, and hope that his innocence is restored in the new storyline.

Well he is one of best Xmen Character but unfortunately people less like a displined gentleman but they love break the rules kinda rude disrepectful characters more. the kill Cylcops so early in the movies just to worship Wolverines feet all the way. shouldnt name it X men. should have name it Wolverine and his sidekicks. thats sounds better

i dont think this video was well researched, and a lot of the things youre pointing out are taken wholly out of context.
i dont like scott, i find him whiny and i dont understand the hype around him seeing as theres so many better characters constantly surrounding him- but also i think this vid does him kinda dirty in an underhanded way.

So wait. you're calling Cyclops a jerk because the woman he loves most keeps dying and coming back to life because she's basically a god due to the Phoenix Force? Yeah, I don't blame him for being a little messed up in his dating life either. This video is junk.

Can't be mad for going after a 1st love at all. But it does get tired having someone in and out of ones lifes like Exs with Kids. But he always go for Jean Grey so he does show loyalty i feel just Life gave him a raw deal. Of corse the Same can be said Grey

I loved Cyclops. He was portrayed well in animated series like the original XMEN, Xmen Evolution, and Wolverine and the Xmen. The movies didn't do him justice. I hope all that changes when Marvel produces an Xmen movie.
