Update: The FOX network did pick up Last Man Standing for its seventh season and it has been renewed for an 8th season. That ABC executive in this video responsible for cancelling the program can make all the excuses she wants; but the real reason Last Man Standing was dropped by that network is because this executive didn't like the Tim Allen character making fun of Hillary and Obama. Interesting sidebar: Most of the shows featured in this video that ABC decided to renew ended up being cancelled because of poor ratings. Makes me wonder if that programming executive is still employed by ABC?

Purely political and Not revenue based: dump the no. 2 program for others that get cancelled. Too conservative. where else on any major network was there a comedic conservative pov! Allen will land on his feet because freedom of specch is not what is now being pandered: freedom of screech. Or, maybe her whole motivation was racist because, after all, that is the econmy of true political justice, whether on the streets, boardroom, or production set.

While I dont support shows that force political agendas no matter which side, Last Man Standing was hilarious whenever Id watch it. Its funny though how a show based around Conservative ideals gets cancelled yet there are so many shows that force Liberal agendas all over and yet they stay on the air. Again, Im not political, I just think its hypocritical.

In my opinion i hate last man standing i get that he's a Republican and all and i have no problem with that it's just he says a lot of thing about Obama that i disagree with also i have another problem when black people are involved with the show it tends to get really awkward and there are times where they get rasicst

IDK what kind of crack people are on but Tim Allen's show clearly bashed exactly the kind of people who say libtard and fascist about Americans unironically. So playing politics is okay if your liberal and/or Democrat. But not okay if your conservative? Sounds about right. Tim Allen was/is black balled just like all the other conservative actors. But another tv show worth having a tv for is gone. Oh well. Good thing I don't have sat, Cable or any other pay tv service.

Can a show be cancelled because it just isn't actually funny? Because I've tried watching this show--and, regardless of my political views, I just can't laugh. It's entirely somebody says something awkward/mean/rude [laugh track]. Sitcoms just. aren't good. They're gonna become irrelevant eventually.
