all of the tracks are based off of real nascar tracks
the first racing in cars 1 is based off of Bristol moter speedway
the last race in cars 1 is based off of Fontana moter speedway or AAA speedway
IDK about the tracks in cars 2
the introduction race to cars 3 is at Dover speedway
the dinoco 400 is at ISM speedway in Arizona
and so is the track at lightening got his first win
and that's all I can remember

The legends that McQueen and Cruz talk to after meeting smokey are based on real life NASCAR legends, smokey himself a representation of a very well respected man also named smokey. In the NASCAR voices segment, you forgot Junior Johnson as Junior Midnight Moon. Also, Smokey's Garage advertisement at Thomasville said The Best DANG Garage in town where in reality, Smokey's advertisement said The best DAMN garage in town.

I don't know if you could consider it an Easter Egg, but the ending where Cruz takes over for McQueen and then McQueen gets awarded the win along with Cruz. That is a direct reference to a Nascar rule where if a driver gets substituted in a race and the substitute wins the driver that started the race also gets credit for the win.

You also missed the Apple logo before the start of the final race, hidden in plain sight, and somewhat brief. Storm notices Cruz is decald like him, as McQueen drives over to chat with Storm, scene changes to Cruz and Storm and in between them is a white stand with the apple logo with a white truck crew chief on top

If your going to talk about racing you need to use the right terms. Theres no such thing as sidelines its called the apron. NASCAR fan already knew who was in the movie because it advertised so much by nascar. Also by the timer he movie came out bubba Wallace was already out of the 6 car since that car was shutting down

You missed one easter egg in the scenes leading up to the point where lightnings mentor remeirez is taking his spot on the signs there is a racer that has the number 117 which is a reference to the super human and spartan master chief from the halo series

Cars 3 should be titled cars 2 and cars 2 should be called mater because it is focused on mater, but still tho. even if its not about racing, at least we get to see those 2 agents again. And doc hudson. he died?

Hey I just went back and watched the first cars. I realized Dinaco's The King wasn't fazed by the Rookies like Lightning or Chick. The King was even blocking Chick the whole time. Was The King really that good?
