The Ending Of It Explained danny: When you said Henry Bowers knifed his old man, it wasn't just because of that-- Henry Bowers was whipped and abused for doing wrong, his dad was an alcoholic and Henry was pushed into being a bully. He had to get out all of his hidden sorrow and anger. Henry literally pissed himself when his father shot at his feet, he actually pissed himself. You can see it when he is walking towards his mailbox. That embarrassed him and made him feel worse then he already did feel because it was in front of the only people he could call friends. He wasn't stable, it wasn't because his dad made him feel bad. Henry was a volcano ready to burst and that little move his father pulled set him off.

Didn't feel alive, because of the deadlights? . It is how they have ruled since at least the days of the Roman Empire - by making people feel insignificant, losers. . Repeat: Honour, country, God. now take this rifle and go hunt the savages for us. you will serve the one you fear, and so they attempt to make you afraid of disobeying them. But they are not, Love. I'm going to eat your flesh - seeing people as cattle, a resource, to be used. physical labour, slaves, used to be the primary energy supply. But maybe, the primary energy supply has been fear? What will we do without slaves? Our way of life. vanishing.

Yeah that part really confused me. Why would Bill be asking them to help him find Georgie so much and then when they get to the spot where all the missing kids are and they defeat Pennywise or send him back to the well. he doesnt look for Georgie in the sky he just finds his raincoat. that part didnt make sense to me. He was looking the whole time to find him again and then they just forget about that part and split ways and make an oath to come back if it returns.

The floating part is not part of the book and they took their liberties with that part of the book. We all float means dead bodies floating in the water of the canal. period. Parts of this one were terrifying but the 90's TV miniseries was just that, a TV miniseries that had to hold back the violence and swearing.
And the new Pennywise is great, but Tim Curry with these kinds of special effects would have traumatized everyone in the theaters for years.

Theres no proof georgie is actually dead
It just showed him getting sucked in the sewers it never showed his dead body
He could've just been floating Beverly was floating and she was still alive
The other kids floating were all the other kids that were missing
Georgie was one of the kids missing
Wouldn't he be like the other kids
BOOM!
You never know he could be living a secret life actually alive

Too many consecutive paint by numbers clown appears scenes, but overall a good movie. A worthy adaptation of the book, which was a really weird book. The child actors were amazing and that is soooo important for the film. Cause the losers club is pretty much the only working social construct in Derry and therefore they had to hit that home. And they did.

This is how I wouldve liked It to end:
Bev and Bill kiss and after Bev walks away, we still see Bill as the screen fades to black. Then a caption reading 27 Years Later appears and we see future Derry and then the camera pans from a street to a telephone pole with a Missing Child poster on it. Then it cuts to black. Roll credits

The next it movie comes 2044 because pennywise comes every 27 years
add 27 to 1990 because 1990 was when the first it movie or miniseries whatever you wanna call it so like looper said it comes ever few decades from hunger so yah
27 + 1990 = 2017 the next it movie was made in 2017 rekted, stephen smart as fuc my dude

Georgie dies in the street from loss of blood, that is why he was not floating in the deadlights. It explains this in the book. I never liked the way IT was shown dragging him in the sewers, he took his arm, a neighbor saw it and they, his parents, buried his body.

I thought race wasnt the key aspect of his character, rather his courage or lack thereof and sensitivity toward then indifference to animals in the slaughter house. Race seems to reduce his characters complexities alongside the more fitting descriptions of his peers.
