Well, let's see. They stripped almost everyone of their powers. Black Bolt is a Superman Clone with Matter and Energy manipulation powers AND a powerful voice. He got beat up by some cops with billy clubs and spoke once all season. Maximus is supposed to be a Telepath. Medusa's hair was cut (shouldnt have been able to) in what, the second episode. Triton is killed off. Karnak was actually given powers, (he has none in the comics) and then stripped of them almost immediately. Gorgon wore high heals and was killed off. Crystal. did what, exactly? And the only one who didn't get completely jacked up was Lockjaw. They totally ruined the genetic caste system plots. Ignored the fact that Karnak and Triton are supposed to be brothers. And otherwise destroyed everything else cannon regarding these characters.
I think, before we can talk about Marvel ruining an Inhumans television show, they have to start by actually making an Inhumans television show. This travesty was not the Inhumans. Not even close.

the prob was not marvel but netflix changing how it was made to cut costs. its why marvel pulled the plug on netflix and switched to disney plus.
now netflix is getting revenge by refusing to let marvel have the rights to the shows back to stop them being made the way marvel wants them.
its also why marvel remade several films cause the studio that made them didnt put the tie ins to the other films and TV shows.
should be better from now on as disney bought marvel so will be making all marvel stuff now.
Disney were hoping to get control of the netflix made stuff to remake them properly.
Prob is netflix wont release any of the stuff they made for 2 years after they cancel the shows and they r going to make more episodes just to keep the 2 year thing going as long as possible. But netflix might not be around much longer as they r losing customers faster than they r getting new ones due to the poor quailty shows they have been making.

Holy shit! I've only seen a couple episodes (because it was so bad and I just hate to ruin any comic book characters in my mind) but until the narrator of this video just said Anson Mount's name. I had no idea that was him! I was wondering why he looked so damned familiar. freaking Hell on Wheels! Such a great show! It's a travesty that he and the dude who plays Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones were done so wrong with this show: . Especially considering that I give a lotttt of leeway to any comic book based/inspired show. Most of the Arrowverse shows are pretty bad imo, and yet I watch and mostly enjoy them all the same. Arrow itself is the best one, I think, but as the shows were released they just got worse and worse. Each is more corny, childish, and just. not. good. than the last. Freaking Legends of Tomorrow? Don't get me wrong: I support and watch them all but I mean really. does anyone actually think Legends of Tomorrow is a _good_ show?

Low Budget is a very good description of Marvel's Inhumans.
I watched all episodes at Disney streaming and was very disappointed. All through the episodes I could see the low budget results as poor props, poor story line, bad acting by some of the actors, poor dialogue, lots of loose ends, and yes, horrible costumes. In the one scene, Karnak & Auran put the dead Gorgon into the transgenesis booth to resurrect him. The booth looked like a cheap wooden box made for the backyard garden and the door had no lock on it. Wow, this was horrible. All this reminded me of low budget B-rate movies from the sixties.
Marvel should not have rushed this one and should have given a decent budget for it and got better actors, better script, better everything.
As for Iron Fist, that was done much better, but I disliked the entire idea and the way it was done, it was corny and lame. Disappointed in that one too.

I could barely watch 30 minutes of this. And having read the Inhumans since their first appearances in the Fantastic Four comic book circa 1966, I was aghast at the movie.
The actors seem like they all live in Hollywood - and their speech patterns reflect that - instead of on the Moon (which was not even the home of the Inhumans for decades.
Poor scripts, compounded by poor acting, poor sets and no sense that these people live in a society completely different from humanity, with different rules, and a different culture is what made this fall so flat. They might as well be humans for all the ineffectiveness of separating a difference race, completely different than humans on Earth.

They didn't even use the powers that much in the show.
Black Bolt has the the power to fly, Sonic scream and has Molecular manipulation, But in the show he sonic scream two times
Medusa she has amazing hair power but the show had to shave it because they could afford not to mention she has red long hair
Crystal she has the power of air fire, earth and water but in the series she just freezes things also I prefer her as a strawberry blond
Karnak can predict a person weak spot but he acts like he can't fight
Triton is suppose to look like a fishman but in the series he is just green with a fin on his head
Gorgon is has horse legs but in series he have hooves feet

Inhumans seriously would have been off as a mindless big-budget spectacle reserved for the action-movie lovers. Instead, they tried to center a story around a man who doesn't speak (not even inner monologue) and cut off Medusa's hair to avoid having to cgi her powers and use her in any kind of effectual way. If they didn't think they could push the title to theaters, they realky should have just scrapped it. Now it'll be a long time before anyone can take a live-action version of the Inhumans serious again.

Part way through this vid, i went and watched the first episode of Inhumans. A great idea for a series but done oh so very badly. Its just more soap opera sci-fi. I can handle cheap cgi but I can't handle bad clumsy writing. It is hard on the actors, as well.
Also, what I have seen of the action sequences was also a bit clumsy. Not interesting, at all. The dog is my favourite character.
Too bad, I actually wanted to like it. It is still better than Jersey Shores but that is a very low bar.

How to fix it? Do a movie like they originally planned, one in which the characters aren't basically evil. Use Anson Mount's Inhuman sign language, scrap everything else, like it never happened. Maybe have this show be a show in-universe; the real Inhumans are watching the show at the beginning and saying Man, they got us all wrong. but it means most of our secrets are safe! and move on. It'll be easy since it ended up not tying into any other films or shows to say it never really happened.
