The Untold Truth Of Netflix

The Untold Truth Of Netflix fanjoy: They're poised to destroy the movie/movie theater market. They're making their own shit, buying movies and forcing the movie industry to adapt, which is for the better. Movies are coming out sooner and sooner thanks to Netflix's dominance. Sooner or later I believe movie theaters are next on the chopping block, their whole shtick is they get movies to be limited for a couple of months, where you can only see them in theaters, now Netflix and many other platforms from tv providers to direct Netflix competitors buy movies straight out of production by passing theaters directly. It's for the better imo.

I worked at Blockbuster during their downfall while Netflix was gaining momentum. My manager told me every time a Blockbuster closes, they ring a bell at the Netflix headquarters. I dont know how true this was, but it really rubbed me the wrong way. Now Blockbuster is gone and video stories are scarce, but I miss the atmosphere of a video store and having the physical box to look at and employees to get input from. Id give up my Netflix to have a video store back.

I HATE that Netflix dropped it Stars Rating System for the absolute of 'Thumbs Up, or Thumbs Down The new rating system doesn't really help at all. There are some similar types shows that while I liked them, some shows I 'kind of like' and others 'I loved' - and I it was nice when looking at shows to watch, to see what other viewers rated 2 similar shows, and that extra star or two, was often what sent me to one show rather than the other.

Netflix try to go Blockbuster
Blockbuster is gone.
Google try to sell Excite
Excite is gone
Nintendo try to port under Atari
Atari is now only a logo
Sony try to port under Nintendo and even Sega
Now kids think only babies and old people play Nintendo. Sega is now a third party game distributor.
Just buy competition if youre a big cooperation or just Do it Yourself if youre a startup

I love Netflix but when I'm watching it on my tv thru my bluray player it freezes up so much that I only can watch it on my computer. Hulu or anything else I stream on my tv doesn't freeze at all and I've looked online for solutions but I can't find the right thing to help me out. Anyone else experience this or have any helpful solutions? I miss watching Netflix on my tv but I'm almost ready to cancel.

Netflix is certainly Orwellian, but no more, or no less, than any company that deals with communication today. Humankind has been rushing towards its own bondage with gusto, and shows no sign of slowing down yet. The thing is, of course, that whoever perfects the universal surveillance of everything and everyone, also does it for themselves

Lowering the cost of their service in areas with high rates of piracy to lure people to Netflix And that is one of the major reasons why Netflix is successful. Unlike most idiotic companies (example: Microsoft) they understand that high rates of piracy are often related to other social issues mostly related to the income in that area.

i feel like season 4 is just stretched out and the creators just pumped a bunch of episodes out. I mean its a presidential campaign i get it but it needs more action than just conway and underwood fighting and trying to bring each other down it gets too repetetive. and also the election night took up 3 episodes thats ONE night.

I love Netflix as a whole but the options are extremely limited in Sweden where I live. AT LEAST 75% of the movies I can find, regardless of genre, is a low-budget or B-movie that I really have no interest in watching. It really feels like they believe people will be happy with quantity over quality in most cases.
