The Untold Truth Of Deathstroke Davide: I don't know how it's lately in the comics, but the success of the 2000s Teen Titans cartoon was not beneficial to the character of Deathstroke in the long run. While the series was great, it portrayed Slade as a straight-up villain, with none of the sympathetic backstory and characteristics he had acquired over the years. This unfortunately extended to the comics, where Slade became more relevant, a menace to the whole DC universe at large, but also more flat - he was even retconned to have no regrets about his affair with Terra and even gloat about it. One of his vilest acts was to convince his own daughter to remove one eye and put some kryptonite in it, just to have an edge against Superboy. Unsurprisingly, when she realized how horribly manipulated she had been, she left villainy to join the Titans. This has long since retconned in the latest DC reboots: I hope Slade has returned to be a more fleshed-out character.

Batman had plans to defeat the JLA, deathstroke actually took them on in a single take. Batman has been beaten by deathstroke, even commented on how he is literally on par with himself in fighting. He managed to beat wonder woman, whom is on par with superman, and took the God killer. Deathstroke is a true badass in DC and his time is slowly going to rise to a point where even Batman fans love this guy more than Batman

Just saying Deathstroke inspired Deadpool isn't telling the whole story. He was originally just Spider-Man but an Evil Ninja, but the Deathstroke stuff started coming in, once they realized how much Spider-Man but an Evil Ninja looked like Deathstroke (which is when they started calling him Wade Wilson. It also ignores the fact that most of Deathstroke's Backstory is pulled straight from Captain America.

What Matt Reeves needs to do (because I have faith in him in a film maker) is he needs to find someone who will stay as Batman for a number of films and then build a cinematic universe around batman. There are so many great stories and characters in the batman universe that have never been properly brought to the screen.

By omage you mean direct rip off of Deathstroke right? It's well established that Liefeld wanted to write Deathstroke and DC told him no so he went to Marvel and suddenly Deadpool appeared and was exactly the same character. All those differences that seperate Deadpool didn't kick in till after Liefeld was replaced as the writer.

Eeeeh. That Justice League fight is very overrated. It was basically just Flash, GL and some jobbers and he only managed to take out the Flash and a pair of scrubs. Not the Justice League.
It's like no one really ever reads this and just parrots some half-ass listicle forever.

I don't know if anyone caught this since I didn't go through all the comments but if that animation footage of Crisis on Two Earths that's not Slade but the parallel Earth's James Gordon, aka Commissioner Gordon from Batman.

Ive learned that you MUST wait for the credits to end these days for the good post credit goodies. In the early days of superhero films I always left early and missed these tidbits

Countdown was terrible. Don't bring it up unless you want to try and explain how Deathstroke can beat Green Lantern by holding his hand and overriding his will.

Deadpool is a ripoff from deathstroke! Deathstroke came from 1980 and deadpool 1991 its obvious that marvel is ripping off characters from DC!
