I don't want to say ripoff The MCU, but The DCCU could certainly LEARN from The MCU. We (the viewers) knew Thanos was coming by the end of Avengers, but they (MARVEL Studios) knew from Iron Man. Darkseid should have been teased at the end of Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Wonder Woman. He should have been teased tracking the situation and ultimately deciding by Justice League's end, with a scene on Apokolips of his killing of Steppenwolf. Just rippoff dialogue from pieces of Superman: The Animated Series. Have Darkseid cinematically hidden in shadow until he moves forward into the light of flames.
Steppenwolf: Sire, I know I disobeyed you, but I thought that if I could open the doors for you there by gathering the mother boxes---
Darkseid: And did you?
Steppenwolf: I. underestimated Earth's strength. But I won't be caught off guard again!
Darkseid: THAT much, at least, is true. I am many things Uncle. You couldn't begin to imagine half of them, but for now I shall take the role of executioner!
(Steppenwolf is killed by Darkseid's Omega Beams)
Desaad: What of Earth now?
Darkseid: If it is to be ruled by Apokolips then fine. I'll do it myself.

I am not a critic but I agree that Justice League bombed. It was a movie to mainly please the people who just go there to take a break while their kids watch a barely 2 hour movie. The beginning was okay (except for the superman face edit, Batman was too much of a Joker to take him seriously (seriously WB? Have Affleck act like Batman, not his fault but yours. Flash was a joke. Cyborg, Wonder Woman and Alfred were good, Gordan was too. I really wish WB just stuck with Snyders vision, at least it would have made sense instead of trying to Marvel up the movie. Hell, WB tried it and it turned out to be shit.

Honestly i feel like this was a great movie. Critics are being too harsh and are clearly biased for marvel. They claim that the justice league creators wanted to cram everything into one but infinity war had the guardians of the galaxy and the avengers crammed into one without any golden shots of all of them together (which we were all waiting for. Ill admit the cgi was bad but still i feel that its completely unfair to give a high rating for infinity war and a low rating for basically all dc movies, when marvel movies are all very predictable.

I suppose it would be too much to ask, but the current DC universe on TV has several current JLAers. Folks such as Green Arrow, the Grant Gustin Flash, White Canary (to be developed to Black Canary at some point, Firestorm, J'onn J'onzz, etc - some of which are original Silver Age characters. If you want to draw on that universe to populate the League, get the TV characters into the movie. You already have a built in audience that way. But sadly it probably won't happen, given filming schedules, character rights, etc.

Search for the petition online. I absolutely loved the film and because of the film I just spent 3 hours watching Dawn of Justice all over again, next thing to watch again is Man Of Steel and Wonder Woman i've watched these films over 10x already ahahha

here is the thing. whats the purpose of Justice League, to stop dangerous enemies destroying earth, and whats the point of watching if the villian got WHOOPED! Not just defeated, but WHOOPED! While the entire team struggled against him, as soon as Superman stepped in, he just dominated the fight. not saying bring Darkseid in this early is a good thing to do. but at least pick a stronger villian. Doomysday would break Steppenwolf in no time.

Critics are overthinking. this movie villan was only a henchman of Darkseid(we all know that he is the Big Guy. the real deal.
Stepphenwolfe didn't need to be a cool villan he is only a toole to bring the Team together.
The Movie was very good
DCEU is on the RUN.

Rotten tomatoes r in league with marvel studios to down rate fast and furious and DC movies. Between Thor ragnarok n justice league I kinda favour justice league. What was really awesome in Thor was in the trailer his hammer been broken, everything else looked like arcade mode or as if he man and the masters of the universe were going to suddenly emerge.

I really dont like what critics have to say about any super hero film or tv show. Doesnt matter if its DC or Marvel, honestly to me the fans voice is more powerful that critics just because some old guy whos been reviewing films for years saw a current super hero film didnt like it to me shouldnt be the deciding factor if fans should go see it.
