The Most Terrible Movies Of 2017 Saphira: The Dark Tower movie was a disappointment. The movie really did have so much potential and it was a letdown that the directors didn't even attempt to follow the story or source material of the books.
Also being a huge fan of the Book series it was completely idiotic to fit it all in a 2 hour movie. I think that what made the movie fail more than anything was the reaction of fans.
Dark Tower fans had anticipated this for so long and then the movie was like the punch in the face. It's just if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Thankfully, I managed to avoid seeing any of these. However, one terrible movie that I did see, which I'm surprised didn't make the list, is Transformers The Last Knight. Now, I know that they haven't been exactly good after the first one but you could usually count on them being at least entertaining. I don't know what happened with this one. It was just all around bad, definitely the worst so far and that's saying something. I never thought they could top Revenge of the Fallen in that department!

The most terrible movies of 2017. all of them!
Seriously, Hollywood has not made a decent movie in years. I remember back 2001-2003 people used to say that Hollywood would someday run out of movie ideas. Well, that day has finally come and it sucks.
Remakes, reboots, super hero movies, and poorly done sequels is all we get now. And they all seem to be really bad.
Not to mention the fact that there are very few to no good actors in Hollywood anymore. Like, at all. What a shame.

Flatliners. One major problem: If you are flatlined (asystole, you DO NOT DEFIBRILATE. Defibrilation stops the heart, it does not start it. This is a common mistake in most tv shows and movies, and it is understandable that people do not understand what is actually being done and why. But to make a movie based around this is pretty sad. I felt the same way about the original, but at least the original had some good actors and much better dialogue.

Yeah, The Book Of Henry was terrible, but at least Jacob Tremblay had a better movie that more recently hit cinemas in Stephen Chbosky's (of The Perks Of Being A Wallflower fame) adaptation of R. J. Palacio's 2012 novel Wonder playing the facially deformed kid August Auggie Pullman.

WHAT OK. FAMILY MAN IS AMAZING AND RELATES TO REAL LIFE HOW MANY PEOPLE ON EARTH HAVE BEEN IGNORED AND SUFFERED FROM BEING ALONE. ME. I'm no movie expert but some of the movies you mention were pretty good and made me cry so sorry if u do not agree just puting that out there.

I don't think the review of Book of Henry and landing the blame of the movie's failure on poor Henry is unfair. I know I cared when the title character became ill. The problem is it was two movies in one and the drastic shift in tone was jarring and not handled well.

Blade Runner 2049 - A totally wasted opportunity to make a great Sci-Fi Flick But - Crap!
John Wick 2 - A Crappy Video Game posing as a Crappy Movie
Jurassic World - Nope
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - Nope
These movies were all high ordered Crap!

Wish upon had potential, the acting was good, I liked the movie plot as I love everything supernatural but I agreed with the critiques. But towards the end she realized what matters most, family, friends not materialistic things/people. I also hated the ending.

I came here to see if The Last Jedi made this list. It didn't, but it should have. To be fair though, pretty much every movie of 2017 sucked. Didn't it set some record for being the worst year ever for Hollywood? Or something like that?
